Exciting Magazine 2023


A magazine cover, but not quite what it seems! As followers will know, I have a collection of European magazines published by Nordisk Bladcentral in the late 1960s. These were Cover Girl and Exciting and featuring some more open and expressive models by the likes of Serge Jacques & Belorgery. Exciting published 32 editions in total, but is now very hard to find.

Above is not a missing edition, but a new cover created by me. The image is one of my originals, but I’ve recreated the cover, including the title logo and font. A bit of fun, and I’m sure if I had a few more hours I could recreate an authentic version of a full magazine. Especially with the amount of images and content I have in my collection.

Margaret Nolan – Back in Black


Hidden beneath that short black wig and looking very sultry is none other than Vicky Kennedy (Margaret Nolan). What better way to kick off June than with a very nice view of Margaret in black stockings and wig, showing off her fabulous figure and tits as she poses on the bed. :)

Mysterious Light & Shade


Beautiful use of light and shade to highlight this 1960s unknown beauty and her fabulous figure. I love how lighting to the left just manages to highlight the line of her figure against the black background, making it almost silhouette like. No idea on whom the model was, but this was from a very good set of 10 by 8 prints of her.

Lynn Reeves – A Bedroom Classic!


What a fabulous vintage glamour shot this is of Lynn Reeves.

Your classical stockings, white panties and corset shot kneeling on a bed cuddling a fluffy toy dog, love it! Throw in Lynn’s typical 1960s hairstyle and the floral wallpaper, and you have a classic on your hands! Let’s not forget her fabulous figure and a sneaky view of one small boob too. :)

Louise Worth – Kamera No.80 Cover (1967)


Louise Worth sat posing on a four-poster bed from Kamera No.80 cover (1967) by Harrison Marks. The four-poster bed was actually in a bedroom at Ewhurst Manor. It seems to appear in other shoots, including a set featuring Margaret Nolan and others. :)

Sophia’s Mini Frills!


The stunning Sophia Dawn sat outside the cottage at Ewhurst on the bonnet of a Mini Cooper. So much to like about this shot the car, the location, or even the model, even though she’s dressed! Saying that, I love the dress and frilly petticoat and Sophia’s beehive hairstyle.

I believe the Mini was owned by the Cliffords, that rented out Ewhurst Manor to the various photographers of the time. The mini is in superb condition and the tax disc on it is dated April 1964. The only thing that could possibly make this shot better is if Sophia was naked! ;)

Annette Johnson – Fireplace Blonde!


The platinum blonde Annette Johnson posing by the fireplace. Taken by Harrison Marks on the Cinderella set, this is actually a pretty good shot of Annette showing off her slender figure. I much prefer her during this stage of her career with long blonde hair. :)

Tina Graham – A Coloured Angelic Pose!

Over the last few months, as well as continuing to edit my vast archive, I’ve also been playing around with colouring some of my original images. In the past I’ve avoided this as I’ve seen various attempts to do this with varying degrees of success. Most are either too skin toned in colour or end up having a painted effect and losing the details.

So after many years of using various tools to edit photo’s I gave it a go! The aim being to create a coloured version that looks as though it was originally taken in colour without losing the details. The above shot of Tina Graham is one of my better attempts, as for every successful coloured version (In my view!) I had about 8 failed versions. Some photos lend themselves to colour, whereas others have too much going on to get the colouring looking right.

I know some of you out there hate the idea of originals being coloured, and I totally get that. This is more of an experiment to see how close I can get to an authentic colour version. I have a small gallery of different models I’ve tried, and I sneaked a few onto the site in the last few weeks (guess which ones?)

So, what do you think? Success or fail, good or bad, and want more?
