Bi-Coloured Cover Girl!

I love tricoloured shots like this, especially this type of view! This comes from the introduction page of Cover Girl No.25 published in the late 1960s. I also adore this model, her smile, and the view. So look out for the full magazine in showing more of her in due course.

Some of you may know the titles ‘Cover Girl’ and ‘Exciting’. These were published by Nordisk Bladcentral, Copenhagen and distributed by Sangko-Norden and both magazines followed a very similar format. They both featured colour covers and back pages of a featured model, as well as a colour centrefold. The rest were black and white shots, but sometimes with a single coloured border or bi-coloured. All the models had one thing in common, they were nearly all natural and showing off their thick bushy curls. Most of the images of the girls were also mostly taken by Serge Jacques.

I love these magazines as they are slightly different and slightly more risqué for the 1960s than you would find over here in the UK.

So I’m trying to build up a collection of them so if anyone has any copies of Cover Girl or Exciting out there I’d love copies or even buy them off you? Very doubtful I know, as they seem to be rather rare and hard to find out there. :)

An Uplifting View From Sissi


I hope everyone had an uplifting extended weekend? We kick off a new month with another shot of Sissi Mississippi by Harrison Marks in the gym. Not sure if those are real lifting weights, but they are certainly a good prop for the shot.

The Lofty Sally Ann Scott!


Sally Ann Scott posing on the loft set from an original scan of a medium format negative in my collection. This particular shot appeared in Kamera No.57 P39 (1964).

Sally Ann posed for Harrison Marks on three separate occasions in the studio between 1960 and 1961. Images from those sessions were to appear in Kamera No.30 (1960) and then in No’s 33, 41, 42, 47, 57, and finally one shot each in No.64 & No.74.

This has to be one of my favourite shots of Sally Ann though. You get a perfect shot of her slender body and smooth pussy as she poses for the master. :)

Monique & Valerie – More Ball Games!

Another shot of Monique Devereux and Valerie Jones banging a few balls by Harrison Marks. I have several negatives from this set of the two posing around and on the snooker table. All have a certain quality to them different from GHM’s other shots.

I love the face on Valerie as she tries to hit the ball as Monique looks on. A perfect pair with differing figures and tits. :)

A Sensational Sissi!


A simply stunning shot of Sissi Mississippi by Harrison Marks. I love everything about this shot from the clarity, pose and composition of the shot by GHM. The look from Sissi is perfect as well with that little pout as she leans against the bed. Finally, I love the way that long négligée falls open to reveal her tits and a hint of that thick bush. One of my favourite later GHM models that appeared in some of his later work.

Tina Graham – Hidden by Shadows


Tina Graham (Christine Carter) by Harrison Marks on the bedroom set. A very cleverly posed and worked shot by GHM as it captures the full naked body of Tina. Thanks to the clever use of lighting and shadows, he manages to hide anything too risqué.  Tina doesn’t even need to hide anything with a hand or prop, as all done with classic photography techniques.

This shot was published in Kamera No.47 P15 (1963), but was reversed and more closely cropped than this version.

Jane Steadman: Divided Beauty!


The beautiful Jane Steadman from a restored 35 mm black and white negative. Another UK model that was popular in her day with many photographers. This 35 mm set is by an unknown photographer, but Jane also posed for Harrison Marks.

The Amorous Eva (Original)


A second shot of Eva Nieman from the set of the Harrison Marks glamour film ‘The Amorous Masseur’. A beautifully uncensored shot of Eva posing in black stockings and suspender belt that frames that smooth pussy perfectly :)

Coincidentally I have also received a new set of 35mm negatives of Eva from Paul from Firebird. Not as revealing as this shot, but equally as enjoyable and more of them to come in future posts.

Busty Brenda! (Original)


A shot from a set of 12 black and white 35mm negatives of 1960’s UK model Brenda Wilson. This set of photo’s has Brenda posing topless in open cardigan, black stockings and panties. Brenda as you can see was rather a busty girl with a great smile and rather nice nipples!

She also posed for Terry Sparks although I’m not sure this shot was by Terry, but I also have a large collection of contact sheets of Brenda by Terry in more revealing poses :)

Barbara Halks – Chain Reaction! (Original)


Another stunning shot of Barbara Halks taken on the set of ‘Eastern Exchange’ by Harrison Marks. This has to be one of the best shots from the set, which you can see here.

Kneeling fully naked on that sheepskin rug showing of that fabulous body and looking straight at the camera. With only that chain and medallion offering any coverage or protection. Although it’s not really covering much if you look closely just under the medallion. A Superb shot of Barbara I think you will agree ;)
