A Very Tempting Trudy!


Again I couldn’t resist a shot of Angela Duncan on this years Xmas calendar and this is a truly tempting shot. This comes from a new set of images of Angela I’ve been after for a while taken by Terry Sparks and now I have them! This is from a set of original contact sheets featuring over 115 new images of her posing in different locations around a house, plus a rather nice set of Angela rubbing cream all over the top half of her body, but more of those in the New Year!

What to say about this particular shot, other than it’s absolutely stunning and shows off Angela’s body and ample curves to perfection. Just looks at those ample tits and the beautiful curve of those hips, plenty to get hold of and enjoy! Terry also has Angela’s real on on the images as Trudy Ayre, but spelt slightly differently to the versions I have. So now we have Trudy Ayre, Trudi Eyre, Trudi Scott and Trudi Pink, not to mention the other names she’s been published under, confusing or what!

Gill – Mine’s a Double! (Original)

Gill photographed by Terry Sparks showing off a cheeky pair at the bar! I only have her down as Gill in my collection, so no idea who she really is, but another model that favoured a wig. Loving the cocktail shaker in the shot and I’d definitely have what she’s offering :)

Ann Wilson: Perfectly Presented!


Another shot of redhead model Ann Wilson posing perfectly on the croquet lawn at Ewhurst. Taken by Harrison Marks, most of these outdoor shots at Ewhurst went on to appear in Solo No.44 (1965) dedicated to Ann’s fine figure. Another shot I don’t think this actual shot made it into publication, but I love the kneeling pose and her completely smooth outlook. ;)

Gina Baker – Another Highlighted Beauty Revealed! (Original)


I have had several sets of original negatives of this beauty in my collection for a while now, but never posted her, as she was down as an unknown to me. This shot comes from a set of 35mm negatives taken in the studio by an amateur photographer, but I also have a set of her taken by Harrison Marks on the bedroom set in pigtails.

Well now thanks to a happy coincidence I’ve been able to name her and several other unknown models. Last week Paul from Firebird Records sent over a dozen pages of original studio leaflets containing details of the studio’s, the facilities and a list of models on their books and how amateur photographers could book them and how much it would cost. More of that in another post, but amongst the models listed was Gina Baker and upon searching the name it came up with images of the model above. The different model lists have Gina down as 5’0″ tall with long brown hair and her vital statistics of 35.23.35 and you could book her for the princely sum of £2/2/- per hour in the studio, bargain! At a guess I’d say this shot may well have been from one of those amateur sessions :)

Who’s Who on Electric Ladyland Cover (1968)

The Jimi Hendrix Album ‘Electric Ladyland’ is 50 years old this year, and one of its controversial and banned covers back then featured a bevvy of naked beauties posing on a black background. Several years ago I got asked if I could identify any of the models and back then my knowledge was lacking. Now I’ve been asked again, and on revisiting the cover I realize that I can now name several of the models and recognize several more.

Back then the cover photographer, David Montgomery, said he found the girls in The Speakeasy nightclub in London, which may be true. But I know those I’ve identified were also well known glamour models appearing in many of the magazines back then and worked for the likes of Harrison Marks and Russell Gay. I’ve numbered the models I can now identify, and the list is below, plus a few I recognize and have images of but have no name.

The three blondes front left also look familiar, but can’t put a name to the lovely faces. Anyone recognize any other models?

One of the models named Reine Sutcliffe was interviewed in Melody Maker in 1968. “It makes us look like a load of old tarts. It’s rotten. Everyone looked great, but the picture made us look old and tired. We were trying to look too sexy, but it didn’t work out.”

Another Mystery Woman! (Original)

Another unknown model photographed by Harrison Marks that I thought I’d already posted but hadn’t! This model appears late in the Kamera run with her only appearing in the penultimate and final editions Kamera No.88 & No.89 (1968). This shot is from a number of negatives I have of her, but was also published in Kamera No.88 P20, but in a slightly retouched version. As you can see in this shot there is just a bit too much on show for publication back then, although they seem to have removed everything including the stubble in the printed version :)

Another model that always seemed to wear a wig when posing and I have this model down as Unknown Model No.38 in my list of unknown models

Jennifer Garland – A Plumped Up Pair! (Original)


Another very nice view of Jennifer Garland and pair of plumped up tits from a scan of an original Pamar 35mm colour slide by Harrison Marks. Not that Jennifer needed to plump up that fine chest, as they looked like a nice firm round pair with those pink nipples. This has to be one of my favourite shots from this set of Jennifer with that long flowing red hair, bright red lipstick and those tits!

Enigmatic Ann!


A stunning image of a young Ann Jones taken by Harrison Marks in the studio in a classic glamour style pose. I think a bit of baby oil was used in this shot, as there is a nice reflection off her shoulders and tits that works well. You will also notice if you look closely that this is an uncensored shot and that in fact Ann had a natural look down below. Although it is difficult to see as it seems she was a true blonde. :)

Backstage with Maureen Tavenbeck (Original)


A beautiful shot of Maureen Tavenback by Harrison Marks sat posing on the Backstage set. Maureen did two photo shoots with Harrison Marks in the winter of 1962/3, one on the Backstage set as above and the other at his flat. Photographs from these sets can be found in Kamera No.53 & 61 and the October page of the 1964 Kamera Calendar. GHM also made one glamour movie featuring her, which was Kamera Cine Film No. 46 simply titled ‘Maureen’.

A fabulous shot of her figure and a very perky pair of tits!
