An original shot of June in the familiar ‘Black Striped Bikini‘ posing in the sand dunes for Arthur Howell in the mid 1960’s, whilst on holiday somewhere in the UK. I’ve also added this to the ‘June on Holiday‘ set and thanks to John for sharing this original with me, as I’ve seen plenty of shots from this set, but not this one :)

Another shot from this set of June posing on a beach down in Cornwall, but this one doesn’t give us much of a view. In view I obviously mean the scenery and not the wonderful body of June, which is on full display in this shot.
This shot reminded me of a conversation with a member this week, where he accused me of destroying his youth and the angelic image he had of June back then. In his words he, along with many guys of his age group were completely besotted with June Palmer, but, he never really saw her as anything less than a beautiful artists model (muse) such as above. Well apparently this site has opened his eyes to the more open and sexier side of June, where we see a little more of her later in her career. I must admit when I started the site for June the images I had seen were like those above and you can see where the angelic muse persona would come from.
I did remind him that I have never seen anything lewd from June, but I do know that throughout her career she was the ultimate professional and although the ‘Angelic’ image of her may be broken, she never gave in to the demanding pressure of more explicit imagery. The most you every get to see of June is full frontal nudity, with her posing playing with her tits etc, but nothing more. In my eyes that has only enhanced the appeal of June as one of the greatest glamour models, knowing she was human and a damn sexy one, but also knowing the appeal she had to her audience and never over stepping that mark. All I need now is for some to shatter my image of her and prove me wrong about doing anything lewd, but I hope not!

The start of a new small set of June posing in different rooms of a house in some fancy fishnets and black panties. June looks fantastic posing in those fancy fishnet tights, but not sure if the house is Ewhurst or Walden, so maybe someone can enlighten me?

Another shot from the ‘Psychedelic Sofa‘ set from the scan of an original negative from John W. This one shows a more revealing June sitting on the sofa in just her suspender belt, giving us a view of her body and a hint of her pussy framed perfectly by that suspender belt! A wonderful shot from later in this set, with a few more still to come :)

The fifth shot of June converted by John from a set of original glass photographic plates taken by Leslie Bainbridge in 1960 (12th August).
This is again an intimate and open shot of June, as it clearly shows her smooth nether region and protruding labia. There are other uncensored shots of June in her early career, but most offer a front view and don’t show the detail as in this shot. A very open bodied pose of June half kneeling with her arms above her, but such a pose seems to exaggerate and pronounce June’s labia in this shot, but never makes the shot seem anything other than artistic. A stunningly intimate pose from June and as you can see the cropped version (top) and original (bottom) are very similar with very little cropping required.

A beautiful shot of a young June taken by Russell Gay and may well have appeared in one of his publications, but it’s unknown as to which and when. I’ve seen a similar shot of June in this outfit before, but that corset looks a damn tight fit to me, but I know that’s the point and gave a woman the curves she craved, but still looks like she can’t breathe! Love the outfit of black panties and stockings, plus the long hair and beauty spot. It also looks to have been taken at the same time as the glamour film ‘So Fur … So Good!‘, also by Russell Gay

I’d completely forgotten about these 3 shots of June posing in the studio until Oldiznewagain posted a coloured version of one. Originally sent through by John they show June in the 1970’s posing in the studio not wearing a sheer transparent negligee :) We see some typical poses used by June throughout her modelling career, the coy finger in the mouth look, an over the shoulder look and of course the giving her tits a good squeeze look! Thanks to John for sharing these 3 shots and Oldiznewagain for reminding me I had them. So many June images, so little time!

The fourth shot from a set of 8 of June posing in long blonde wig at Scotlee studios in the 1970’s. This one has her kneeling in the middle of the sheepskin rug as she looks off right away from the camera. A great pose that shows June’s body was still as good as ever in the 1970’s, with a hint of bush for good measure. The other shots published so far from this set can be seen here and will be appearing as a new gallery shortly.

A two page advert from a photographic magazine in 1959 (title unknown) offering the delightful services of a young June Palmer. I do like a bit of memorabilia of June and there were a couple of lines that made me chuckle in this advert, ‘A Very Good Model Indeed’ is very understated and I love the old style telephone number that uses words and numbers. I also like the fee per hour of £1 10 6, which works out in today’s prices as about £85 an hour. For an hour photographing June cheap at half the price and worth every penny. I know others have photographed June at various times throughout her career including John, so I’m curious what did they pay for the privilege of shooting June?
The start of a new set of photo’s sent through by John from a 35 mm filmstrip containing 37 various images on June in the red stockings. This is a more mature June with the fuller figure and bosom and full hairy bush on view, as she poses in the studio.
It’s unknown as to the place or date that of these shots, but looking at June, I’d have an educated guess at the early 1980s. Still a fantastic shot of an older June, and even at this age (40’s) she still had it! More of the ‘Red Stocking Strip’ to come soon, and thanks as always to John for a remarkable new set of June.
