Angela Jones: Yellow Chrysanthemum

I have a few of these slides of Angela Jones from a private collection, taken of her in front of those blinds with the Yellow Chrysanthemum in her hair. A stunning collection, but by the looks of it a bit later in her modelling career, I’d say 1970s and definitely after her Harrison Marks period.

A few things I’ve noticed from an early shot, her hair is longer obviously, but she also has a fuller figure and her tits and areola are much bigger. Plus, she’s wearing a wedding ring in this shot, but that’s not to say she wasn’t married in other shots and not wearing the ring.

Annette with Attitude!

A shot of a moody Annette Johnson from a restored 35mm colour slide, and unfortunately the only one I have from this set. Definitely showing some attitude in this shot along with her other assets, although I’m not sure about those eyebrows! They look a bit severe to me :)

Front Room Stockinged Beauty (1960's)

A stocking lover’s dream now with a pretty girl with great legs, seamed stockings with an imprinted welt and a taut suspender! Beautiful shot as she sits there in the front room and restored from my collection of original vintage 5 x 4 prints.

Margaret's Midnight Shadow!

A very happy Margaret Nolan showing off her big smile and midnight shadow in front of the fire place! Taken by Harrison Marks and reprinted in Magnificent Models No.1 this shot of Margaret must have still been easier to retouch then one of the fuller bush models

Gloria Lomax: The Full View

I posted a cropped version of this original of Gloria Lomax as it was published in Kamera No.88 (1968) on page 8. I’ve now got the original negative, which gives us a full view of both Gloria and the ornate furniture at Walden Manor. I love it when I get an original of an image also published in Kamera, as you get to see the full picture and the superior quality of a negative scan.

Going Roman with Ann Dixon

A Roman theme to this shot of Ann Dixon (Hazel Taylor) with the toga like dress and grapes. A much more elegant shot of ann with her hair up from the 1950s Glamour Book that includes a range of images from Russell Gay publications, including Fiesta and Knave, with the Odd QT image thrown in for good measure.

Anne Walker by Terry Sparks (1964)

Revisiting two re-edited shots of Ann Walker taken in 1964 by Terry Sparks, that have to be some of my favourites by Terry.

As regulars will know, I’ve been fortunate enough to be in contact with Terry over the years. In which time he has shared his wisdom, knowledge and of course images of the models he has photographed over the years. I find it amazing that Terry had access to Ann and all the other models I post on this blog, so I asked him the simple question, so who have you photographed? His answer below is a list of who’s who from this site and an impressive list of models.

‘You were asking which of the girls on your model listing I had worked with, so I have named them below. Ann Walker, Bridget Leonard, Britt Hampshire, Caroline Coon, Caron Gardner, Cindy Neal, Cleo Simmons, Danielle Denise, Geri Brown, Gillian Evans. There was also Gloria Lomax, Julie Collins, Lena Ellis, Lee Southern, Maria Frost, Maya Zell, Nicky Stevens, Nicole Yerner, Pam Arnold, Patsy French, Penny Winters, Rena Brown, Teri Martine, Terry Graham, Terry Peters, Tina McGowan, Toni Burnett.

There were others that I met or knew but did not photograph like Jutka Gotz, Margaret Nolan, Eve Eden and of course June Palmer who I dealt with when she was running her model agency.’

Joan Brinkman: Fancy a Tipple?

1960’s US Model Joan Brinkman showing off her two very big assets! It seems these shots were part of a set that appeared in Showcase, Vol.2 No.2 (1962) with Joan as Gina Mayers. I can’t quite work out what drink it is coming from that fridge, but at a guess it could be cider?
