A small website update this month, mostly tidying up some broken links and images. I’ve also added 4 new galleries, Va Va Voom!, June Dressed, Sheer Delight and Ewhurst Escapades under the new galleries section, with more coming.
Enjoy!

Two originally sourced shots of Pamela Green and Marie Deveraux posing in the conservatory by Harrison Marks. Taken in the late 1950s the colour version shows Pam with red/ginger short hair before her blonde period, with both shots given a front and back view of each. They seem to be taken in the same location as similar early Pam and June Simpson shots, so the location would be Pam’s parent’s house in Kent.
There’s nothing like a day trip out in your best coat and scarf to visit the sights of London! June looking extremely elegant as she poses down on the Thames embankment in white jacket and scarf on 11th August 1963. Sometimes the simplest of images of June are equally as good as the glamour shots and this is one such shot.
I didn’t realize, but I have two other shots of June in this outfit as well as this one :)
Another unknown model to me, but these were such a lovely perky pair of images of Georgina, showing off her own little perky pair that I thought I’d share them here. Both shots seem to be from different magazines, but there is a definite Oriental clothing theme going on in them, with the jackets and that hat!
I’ve only just received this original negative, but thought I’d share it, as it has two of my favourite 1960s models in it, Dawn Grayson and Gloria Lomax (Donna Ambrose). Scanned from a 35 mm slide, it has Dawn, Gloria and another model that name escapes me for now posing on a lawn in just their knickers. I love the contrast in knickers with Gloria wearing white between the two others wearing black and a shame only Gloria is looking directly at the camera.
Having been contacted by Gloria in the past, I knew that both her and Dawn used to travel up to London from Luton on modelling assignments, so it’s fantastic to actually see a shot of them modelling together. Gloria looks stunning as always, but a shame the others are looking away, and it looked like a warm summer when this shot was taken as the grass looks a little dry!
Can anyone put me out of my misery and identify the third model in the shot, as it’s bugging me who she is?
An original image of Tina Graham (Christine Carter) posing for Harrison Marks on a beach set I’ve seen used with other models, such as Ann Walker. Tina was the name that GHM gave Christine when she posed for Kamera, but as a model she was more well known as Christine (Chris) Carter and later as Chris Williams, as she married glamour photographer Ken Williams.
Three shots of an unknown Oriental model from the pages of Model No.14 by Russell Gay, but she also modelled for Harrison Marks and appeared in Kamera Special No.2. These shots were taken around the grounds of Ewhurst Manor, as the first is outside the well known cottage door, the second down by the pond out the front of the property, with the final shot taken on the side patio with the trellis in the background. I’ve no idea who the model is and I’ve only seen her appear in the two magazines mentioned, but she’s down as unknown model No.23 on the ‘Unknown Models’ page.
A stunning nude shot of June posing on a rustic wooden bench in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor from the ‘Ewhurst Escapades‘ set. I love the side profile shot with her long hair cascading down her back as she sits in the sunlight, allowing us a view of her full body from the side, but watch out for splinters!
My collection of Dawn Grayson images grows by the day, but you can never have enough of her, so it’s about time Oldiznewagain did a coloured version of one of here images :) the red of her hair and the blue of her eyes in this representation look almost perfect and he never seems to go wrong with his choice of background colours. I must send him some of my Dame originals to colour to see how they come out, as I know he does requests from others if you look at his site.
The original post featuring the black and white version can be found here and it’s also the same sofa as the my previous post with Caroline Coon on!
