A shot of Audrey Crane from In Focus No.3 (1958) posing on the telephone in a little black number whilst having a smoke! You can just imagine her on the other end of the phone like this back in the 1950’s talking naughty to someone on the other end. All very sophisticated, not like those 0800 numbers advertised today (so I’m told!)

I’ve seen this model pose for Harrison Marks in a number of early shots, but never been able to name her until now! That was until I came across a dressed shot of her in Art Advertiser and Studio News, which named her as Valerie. I’ve posted on other shot of Valerie before as unnamed here

One of the few appearances of June Wilkinson in Kamera, this one being the only shot of her to appear in Kamera Special No.2 (1958). June also appeared in Kamera No.5 (1 shot) and No.8 (1 shot) along with several shots of her appearing in one of GHM’s other publications ‘In Focus’. They may be scarce but still a worth addition to the GHM portfolio.

I got a superb copy of Kamera Special No.2 (1958) this week, with very few things wrong with it for a magazine that is 56 years old. The cover above features Pamela Green as Rita Landre in that very bright and tight pink corset! I even have an original copy of this image (reversed) that I published here.
