Pam & Jean – Balcony With a View! (Original)

A stunning view in more than one way of Jean Spaul (Sporle) and Pamela Green. Taken by Harrison Marks on the balcony of the apartment he owned with Pam down in Hampstead and obviously a good position for a spot of nude sunbathing! The original cropped version of Pam and Jean together on this balcony was published in Kamera No.27 P27 (1960) and also features several other shots of the two, in and around the grounds of the apartment.

Thanks to Simon for sending through this scan of this original negative. Interestingly the actual negative, along with others that Simon has sent through has blue marking or pen added over the pubic regions. One assumes this may have been added as part of the developing process to hide sensitive bits when printed for publication? Anyone heard of this before, as it’s the first I’ve seen or heard about it. Thankfully modern scanners can be adapted to remove the blue colour, so we get to see Jean and Pam in all their fully glory, or at least a peak at it!

June on Glass – Strike a Pose! (Original)

The sixth shot from the set of images taken of June in the studio on glass photographic plates (12th August, 1960). This wonderful shot shows June sat striking a pose very similar to the ‘Vogue’ shot by Madonna, but with even less clothes on! Another very clean, crisp uncensored shot of June and I never tire of this set of images of her, with more still to come.

Making a Splash at Spielplatz (1960)

Lee Southern (Grace Jackson) sat posing on the pool edge at Spielplatz Naturist Club, which sure looks fun and cooling! Another print from a photographic glass plate and another naturist club for Lee to pose at, similar to this shot of her at Sheplegh Court.

Taken on 26th May 1960 Lee was 24 and a few years younger than the shot at Sheplegh, not that you can tell! It seems that both clubs were very popular with the photographers back then, especially Spielplatz to take models to for photo-shoots, but one wonders if they had to strip off too?

Virginia Green – Devil’s View!

Another shot of Virginia Green amongst the props by Harrison Marks, similar to this shot from the same shoot. This one gives us a much clearer view of her body, and we are all looking in the same place as the devil’s head! Another original scan of a negative from Kevin, and a great one of Virginia that leaves little to the imagination!

The cropped and censored version of this shot was published in Solo No.15 P3 (1960)

Angelic Annlyse (1960)

Another model that never had a second name, well I’m sure she did but she was only ever referred to as Annlyse. She appears on her own and as a duo with Dorte in Kamera No.36, 37, 44, 48 & 53 and also co-stars with Dorte in Harrison Marks glamour film No.15: ‘Too Cold for Comfort’ (1961). Apparently both girls were over on a holiday from Denmark and agreed to pose for GHM, he must have been very persuasive.

Annlyse had a great figure with small upturned boobs, but the retoucher hasn’t done a good job in this shot on her pubic region, as proportionally it looks wrong and drawn in! This shot comes from Kamera No.36 P24 (1960)

Madeleine Mado – Kamera Calendar, May 1960

It’s been a while since I posted a page from one of the Kamera Calendars, so he is a scan of my own copy of the 1960 Kamera Calendar. This one features a studio shot of Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale) in a long blonde wig stood at a dressing table.  I’ll be adding a gallery of the 1960 calendar shortly.

I’m still missing a copy of the 1965 calendar, if anyone has one they are willing to share :)

Virginia Green Amongst The Props!

An unusual shot from an original negative of Virginia Green by Harrison Marks. This has Virginia posing amongst some very familiar props that have appeared numerous times in other shots by GHM. The more important question about this shot is, whose hand is that in the top right of the shot? Obviously helping with the lighting it’s a female hand with well manicured nails, so possibly Pamela Green helping out?

Not the most obvious shot to buy or post, but I loved it for the fact it has Virginia Green all smooth and uncensored, all the different props in it, I can identify and of course the hand! Finally, I’m not sure what that is that Virginia Green is barely wearing, but was it worth it?

The cropped version of this shot of Virginia appears in Solo No.15 P27 (1960)
