June Palmer & The Old Barn Wall! (Original)

June posing nude outdoors and propping up an old barn wall!  I’d go with saying this was somewhere warm looking at the sky and location, maybe on holiday again somewhere and taken by Arthur Howell.  Originally from a 120 film negative, but edited and tidied up to remove the odd scratch.

Signed by June Palmer & Arthur Howell

I came across these original signed photo’s of June over on Tumblr, not only signed by June but also Arthur Howell!  Thanks must go to minimunster, who owns the originals and kindly allowed me to share them here.

Fantastic quality scans by minimunster and all the originals can be found … here.  The top image looks to be at Ewhurst :)

Rachel Wells & The White Silk Dress (Original)

June Palmer as Rachel Wells (short dark wig) in a long white silk dress, taken in a hotel room on holiday, possibly Corsica again!  This comes from a set of 6 images and on looking, most of the images of JP as Rachel Wells seem to be on location somewhere warm or on holiday and taken on 120 film format by Arthur Howell.

Diving With June Palmer (Original)

I’ve been scouring the archive’s for inspiration for my 500th post, but nothing jumped out until I saw these again.  I decided the post should be JP related, but wanted something different, so when I saw these it was decided!

June Palmer in the late 1960’s on holiday diving!  One with her in scuba gear preparing to dive and then two of her doing some nude snorkeling (my favourites!)  Apart from her great bum, the two underwater shots are fantastic and love the bubbles surrounding her on the last shot.  I’ve done very little to these shots apart from some minor colour adjustments and removing the odd blemish, but the quality on the underwater shots was amazing!

These were probably taken by Arthur Howell on holiday and again the best guess is Corsica as it seems to be a favourite holiday location.

So this was my 500th post since March when I started this blog, Wow! Thanks must go to all the contributors who have helped with the quality of this blog and the fantastic original photo’s that have been sent to me, including John W who provided the 3 images above and allowing me to share them!

Brides in the Bath – Part 2 (Video)

So as promised part 2 of the full version of ‘Brides in the Bath’.
This film was based loosely around the true life story of serial killer and bigamist George Joseph Smith.  I won’t bore you with the details, but if your interested in the real story there is a link here
The story behind this film can be found over on part 1

Highlights of this part, the can-can girls including Jayne Tracey and of course George’s third wife in the shape of June Palmer and another bath scene!

Actresses in this part are listed below, again some I cannot identify, so let me know if you spot any?

George (?)

Can-Can Girl No.1 (?)

Can-Can Girl No.2 (Jayne Tracey)

Can-Can Girl No.3 (?)

Mistress (Same as Can-Can Girl No.3?)

Wife No.3 (June Palmer)

For those wanting to skip through things Jayne Tracey starts at 2:30 minutes and June Palmer at 14 minutes

So I leave you to enjoy part 2 of ‘Brides in the Bath’, which completes this never before seen video from Arthur Howell and featuring June Palmer.

Next… Another never before seen June Palmer video called ‘Triangle’ featuring June as Little Bo-Peep, an image of which can be seen on her Wikipedia page … Here

P.S. If the video fails at any point, do let me know :)

June Palmer – Original 'Brides in the Bath' 16mm Film Scan

A scan of an original piece of the colour 16mm film ‘Calamity June’.

This was from a reel of pieces of offcuts and out-takes from Arthur Howell, provided to a contact of mine John.  John pulled together the pieces and produced the version of ‘Brides in the Bath’ currently showing on this site.
This piece of negative is towards the end of the film where George is trying to kill off his third wife (June Palmer), but she fights back!

There's That Rug Again June!

Another image from a 120 film negative of June posing on a sheepskin rug (again!) in front of some blinds wearing a short silver wig.  Apparently she went under the alias of ‘Candy’ when wearing a short silver wig, but most people only know of her alias Joanna Kent, so images tend to get mixed up!  Joanna used to have a long strawberry blond wig in most shots.

June Palmer as Rachel Wells

Another Stunning Outdoor Nude Shot of June Palmer, This Time as Rachel Wells, Who She Used To Model As When She Wore The Short Dark Wig. The Shot is From a 120 Film Negative, Probably Taken by Arthur Howell.

Another Joanna Kent 120 Original

Time For Holidays, So I Leave You With Another Joanna Kent Shot (June Palmer).  I Love This Pose (I have Larger Images Sizes if Requested)!  See You All in a Week!

Nice Dimples June!

Another original shot of JP taken by Arthur Howell, probably late 1960’s
that I’ve never seen before.*  Converted from a medium format 120 film negative and all I’ve done to the shot is tidy up some dirt on the image and tweaked the colour (originally a sepia colour).

I’m really pleased to be sharing these unique shots, as I think they should be shared but please where possible if you share elsewhere link back to this original.
