A Bedable Bobby Shaw!

I saw this shot and instantly recognized the model as Bobby Shaw and the location as one of the bedrooms at Ewhurst Manor. The bedroom has appeared from various angles in many other shots, including these, as the headboard is rather distinguishable. Also, a great shot of Bobby Shaw on all fours, showing off her bare round bum and her tits hanging down seen through her sheer black négligée.

Three shots of UK model, Margaret Stewart posing outdoors at one with nature, with all three shots taken by Leslie Bainbridge on photographic glass plates. Again, it is unknown where these shots were published, if indeed they were, but more than likely due to the style of them, shot for the likes of Health & Efficiency (H&E). Unknown location, but I do like the top shot of her posing in the fountain and her body being sprayed with the water :)

Venetia Day – A Wet & Glistening View! (Original)

The final solo image of Venetia Day by Terry Sparks. This time a rear view shot of her as she poses thigh deep in the sea off Rhodes, with the sun glistening off her wet body and the smallest hint of one nipple! I assume as we can see the shoreline in the background that Terry was deeper in the sea than Venetia, hopefully he kept this equipment dry (boom boom!)

Tracy Reeves – More Armchair Antics! (Original)

Thanks to Kevin I have loads of original shots of Tracy now, including several from this set of her posing on and off this armchair. The first shot here, was a more typical sat pose, whereas this is a little more adventurous with her perched on the chair looking over her shoulder, giving as a partial rear view.

A Little Tipple With Caroline (1967)

Caroline Coon posing at the bar in GHM’s flat with a very retro looking bottle of brandy! This shot appears in Kamera No.80 P36 (1967) and is one of seven shots of Caroline in this edition, posing around the living room of the flat.

Ann Wilson – Unusual Pond Life! (1965)


Ann Wilson posing in a pond from P33 of Solo No.44 (1965) by Harrison Marks and dedicated entirely to Ann.

I always assumed that this pond was in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor, but it wasn’t until Terry Sparks mentioned it, that the pond is actually in the grounds of Walden Manor, not Ewhurst. If you look on Google Maps the pond is no longer there, but if you were to look at the front of the house it would have been down the left-hand side, where a patio now stands between the house and a large tree.

I’ve also seen images of Monique Devereux, Barbara Halks and Stevie Vaughan standing in the same pond as well. It must have been bloody cold and not that clean, so makes you wonder how GHM talked them into getting in the pond!

More Roman Bubbles With June (1964)

Another shot of June posing on the Roman Set sat waist deep in the sunken bath from the Kamera Special publication ‘The Fabulous June Palmer’ P57 (1964). I love the way she’s leaning one arm on the golden lions head as it spouts water :)

Nancy Roberts – A Walk on The Wild Side!

OK, more like a crawl, but I love this shot of Nancy Roberts kneeling on all fours in the grass, especially the look on her face! A very ‘You want it? Come and get it’ look as she poses like that.

Another from the set of Nancy taken in the grounds of Sheplegh Court in 1959, when she was a mere 20 years old! Looking at the details on the box of these glass plates I now recognise the handwriting as that of Leslie L. Bainbridge, editor of H&E (Health & Efficiency) magazine and then Girl Illustrated. Who also took a set of shots I’ve been posting of Lee Southern as well.
