Teri Martine kneeling on the sand at Bedruthan Steps, Cornwall in 1966. Taken by Harrison Marks on a two-week trip with several models, with most images appearing in his Kamera on Location 66 special. A great stack behind Teri, that no longer exists at Bedruthan, as it’s been eroded over the years.
Life's a Beach with Sophia Dawn & Frankie Young (1964)
Sophia Dawn and Frankie Young on a beach in Cornwall in some unusual poses (artistic?) from the hardback publication, She Walks in Beauty (1964). One of GHM’s favourite locations for outdoor work in the mid 1960s. I do sometimes wonder how he got away with all this nakedness on the beach, but I suppose the beaches were less crowded back then, or they were up early!
Sophia Dawn: Lost in Transit!
Sophia Dawn, taken by Harrison Marks on a railway track down in Cornwall. This time sat in a more artistic pose than the first, more natural shot of her here. It also looks like she’s trying to dry nail polish on her finger nails, but a very extreme and naked way of doing it!
Some Fresh Air with Christine
Tina Graham/Christine Carter taken by Harrison Marks on location. This time a lighter haired version that she seemed to prefer as her career progressed.
Cracking view as she poses by the tree, and I think the location was Cornwall, but not 100% sure. There are other images from this set of Christine in Kamera No.48 with an old tin mine in the background, hence the assumption of Cornwall.
On The Rocks With Terry Peters
Terry Peters posing on the rocks in open long white négligée by Harrison Marks from the mid 1960s. A stunning early shot of Terry taken down on location, probably at one of GHM’s favourite spots near bedruthan beach, as I’ve seen other shots of Terry in that location with the famous Queen Bess rock stack in the background. Regardless of location, Terry looks stunning sat on those rocks.
