Dawn Grayson – Shimmering Strip, Part 1

Finally how could we be talking redheads without mentioning my favourite redhead of all time – Dawn Grayson. This woman just floats my boat in every way and here she can be seen stripping out of her shimmering dress and stockings, down to her white underwear.  A perfect strip tease of which there is more to come! Incidentally the top image was used on the cover of Span No.163, where the dress and stockings appear in colour as gold. Dawn Grayson – The Magic in a Face

I originally published a version of this image under the title ‘Shattered Glass’ in June 2013 when I came across the image of Dawn and it was instantly a favourite. Well now I’ve found where it came from and have an original copy, as above. It was originally published in ‘Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties’ on page 84, where he describes expressions of the face can change the mood of a photograph.

Incidentally I prefer this version to the first I found, as it looks better in black and white and Dawn looks good with a beauty spot!

Dawn Chorus – Part 1

The first part of an article title ‘Dawn Chorus’ from New Kamera No.1 (1969) and featuring Dawn Grayson in long blonde wig. The photo’s from this article were shot by GHM on the ‘Hollywood’ set at Lily Place Studios in 1964 and include the very familiar long transparent dressing gown. Dawn’s alias when wearing the long blonde wig was Liza Martelle, another made up name by GHM!

Dawn Grayson & The Orange Dress (Part 2)

I’ve had this shot a while and it wasn’t until I posted the other shot of Dawn in the same dress I realized I hadn’t published this one! So, another shot of the delectable Dawn in that Orange dress, but unfortunately it’s stayed in place this time! Dawn also had a great set of legs on her too, which she’s showing off here very well.

A Medley of Models

Here’s a new one to me from the pages of Mayfair Magazine Vol.1 No.4 (December 1966) a line up of well know 1960’s models. Unless I am mistaken from left to right we have Lee Southern (Grace Jackson), Dawn Grayson, Teri Martine, Unknown, Bobby Shaw and finally Annette Johnson. Sorry I can’t place the lovely in red, but she looks familiar, but not a regular on here, anyone put me out of my misery and name her?

Dawn Grayson – Kitchen Capers!

Dawn Grayson nude in the kitchen and posing for Ed Alexander for his book of English Beauties (1964). As Ed himself says, when photographing the nude indoors, a change from plain studio backgrounds can sometimes be made by using the average home as a setting, as long as the setting doesn’t detract away from the model.  Trust me, my eyes are firmly focussed on the model here!
