She me be naked or topless, but Virginia Green has a cracking pair of earrings on, so that makes everything OK :) and to be honest it works! Back in the 1950s and 60s the models just seemed to look that bit more elegant or classy as they posed naked with their gloves or jewels on than they do today.
I love this shot of Virginia, as it looks as though she’s been out for the evening and then just stripped off leaving her hair up and earrings in place, and why not :)

Catching up on my June images and the third shot from the restored strip of 35mm negatives of June posing in sheer panties, this time another front view. I actually think having the panties on adds to the shot, plus June’s perfect hair offset by the earrings, make it all work for me, but think I’ve said that before :)

The second shot from the restored strip of 35mm negatives of June posing in sheer panties, this time a front view, show that only the rear of the panties were sheer (shame!). Saying that this image just stood out for me, as even though she’s not looking directly at the camera, the pose and curves of her body are just perfect. I actually think have the panties on rather than off only adds to the shot, plus June’s perfect hair offset by the earrings, make it all work for me :)

Two shots of the stunning June Russell by Harrison Marks from Kamera No.19, P5 and P9 (1959). Another model that knew how to wear a pair of earrings and nothing else and get away with it, very much like Julie Shearing.
A coloured version of one of my Brenda Graham posts by Oldiznewagain and you can see the original black and white version here. Since I first started posting his coloured versions of old vintage glamour models his talents and popularity have taken off and now he’s working with Gloria Dawn (Shannon Moeser) to colour lots of her original images. A beautiful close-up snapshot of June with her face turned away from the camera, taken by Bob Robson in 1959 when June was the ripe old age of 19!
A very made-up Jean Spaul (Sporle) from Kamera Special No.2 P27 (1958). Jean with her hair pulled back and big dangly earrings, again with striking make-up, what I can’t make my mind up about though, is if she was ‘blacked up’ in this shot? Similar to Pamela Green as Princess Sonmar Harriks I’ve seen shots in Kamera of Jean ‘blacked up’ from head to foot, but can’t quite decide if this is one of those shots, or just her make-up and lighting?
The final image from this set that I have of a stunning Brenda Graham posing in a front room in nothing more than a pair of long dangly earrings, but looking very elegant with it. Who says you can’t be naked and still look elegant and classy :)
