Continuing my monthly posts of images from the 1966 Kamera calendar. July features a favourite model of mine in the glorious form of Dawn Grayson. This shot features Dawn sunning herself in the open door of a white Buick in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor. A cracking way to start July!

Continuing my monthly posts of images from the 1966 Kamera calendar. June features another regularly used model by Harrison Marks in the form of Elaine Desmond. June supposedly being a warmer month features Elaine posing nude at the beach. The beach is of course Bedruthan down in Cornwall. :)

I always find it fascinating when I come across an image of a model published in Kamera and I have a copy of the original to compare it with. This is another good example of Elaine Desmond published in Kamera No.51 P 22 (1963).
This is the scan from the original negative, so much crisper and clearer than the magazine image. Taken on the loft set by GHM it shows Elaine kneel naked on a wooden box covered with old papers. A fabulous view of her nice round arse and one round puffy tit. Not to sure about the dirty feet though.
Another perfect pose on a fabulous set by the master in the prime of his career, depending on your view of when he did his best work :)
A shot of Elaine Desmond precariously posing in the river, taken by Harrison Marks. Location wise this is on location down in Bedruthan, Cornwall, as I’ve seen similar shots at this river used in Kamera on Location 66. Elaine wasn’t part of the original set of models that appear in Kamera on Location 66. It does appear it was a popular location for GHM, as several other models including Elaine are seeing posing in the same locations during the late 1960s.

Now here’s an interesting collection! A set of six cards (3 more coming soon!) featuring a trio of models with their height and vital statistics. These were again sent over by Tony, who was wondering what they were used for?
I’ve never seen these before, but my best guess was that they were index type cards produced to either to show off models for customers wanting to buy photo sets of their favourite models. Or index cards used to promote models for hire with photographers, which would make sense with having the statistics on the cards. What do you think?
Some very familiar faces (and figures!) on these cards and a few I didn’t know, such as Shelly Davis. Thanks again to Tony for sending over the copies and I think he’s going to be putting the whole set up on eBay soon, so look out for them if your interested.

A colour shot of Elaine Desmond posing in a rock pool on Bedruthen beach in nothing more than her pigtails. Another appearance of the familiar rock formation in the background, that has appeared in numerous shots of different models. As someone has noted this particular rock has a very phallic look to it, so probably used by GHM on purpose!
