Dawn Grayson – Kamera Calendar July 1966/2022

Continuing my monthly posts of images from the 1966 Kamera calendar. July features a favourite model of mine in the glorious form of Dawn Grayson. This shot features Dawn sunning herself in the open door of a white Buick in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor. A cracking way to start July!

Elaine Desmond – Kamera Calendar June 1966/2022

Continuing my monthly posts of images from the 1966 Kamera calendar. June features another regularly used model by Harrison Marks in the form of Elaine Desmond. June supposedly being a warmer month features Elaine posing nude at the beach. The beach is of course Bedruthan down in Cornwall. 🙂

Elaine Desmond – Great Ass, Filthy Feet! (Original)

I always find it fascinating when I come across an image of a model published in Kamera and I have a copy of the original to compare it with. This is another good example of Elaine Desmond published in Kamera No.51 P 22 (1963).  
 
This is the scan from the original negative, so much crisper and clearer than the magazine image. Taken on the loft set by GHM it shows Elaine kneel naked on a wooden box covered with old papers. A fabulous view of her nice round arse and one round puffy tit. Not too sure about the dirty feet though.
 
Another perfect pose on a fabulous set by the master in the prime of his career, depending on your view of when he did his best work 🙂

Up Stream with Elaine Desmond! (Original)

A shot of Elaine Desmond precariously posing in the river, taken by Harrison Marks. Location wise this is on location down in Bedruthan, Cornwall, as I’ve seen similar shots at this river used in Kamera on Location 66. Elaine wasn’t part of the original set of models that appear in Kamera on Location 66. It does appear it was a popular location for GHM, as several other models including Elaine are seeing posing in the same locations during the late 1960s.

Elaine’s Sandy Bottom!

Elaine Desmond, posing for Harrison Marks as she kneels on her hands and knees naked in the sand. Taken from an original medium format negative down on a beach, probably on location in Cornwall in the mid 1960s. A fabulous pose by Elaine, but she does seem to have a bit of a sandy bottom!

A Trio of Beauties (Original)

Now here’s an interesting collection! A set of six cards (3 more coming soon!) featuring a trio of models with their height and vital statistics. These were again sent over by Tony, who was wondering what they were used for?

I’ve never seen these before, but my best guess was that they were index type cards produced to either to show off models for customers wanting to buy photo sets of their favourite models. Or index cards used to promote models for hire with photographers, which would make sense with having the statistics on the cards. What do you think?

Some very familiar faces (and figures!) on these cards and a few I didn’t know, such as Shelly Davis. Thanks again to Tony for sending over the copies and I think he’s going to be putting the whole set up on eBay soon, so look out for them if your interested.

Elaine Desmond – Pigtails & Rude Rocks! (Original)

A colour shot of Elaine Desmond posing in a rock pool on Bedruthen beach in nothing more than her pigtails. Another appearance of the familiar rock formation in the background, that has appeared in numerous shots of different models.  As someone has noted this particular rock has a very phallic look to it, so probably used by GHM on purpose!

Elaine Desmond Uncensored & Retouched (1963)

I always find it fascinating when I come across an image of a model published in Kamera and have a copy of the original to compare it with.  The above two shots are a good example of Elaine Desmond published in Kamera No.51 (1963).  
The first shot is the original uncensored shot of Elaine showing us everything, including her smooth fully shaven mons pubis area. The second is the same shot, but published in Kamera after the retoucher has got hold of it to get it past the censors! If we ignore the quality difference between the two shots I still know which one I prefer. Although back when this was published, something was better than nothing in terms of titillation! Two great shots of Elaine which ever version you prefer.

Elaine Desmond – River Dance! (1966)

A shot of Elaine Desmond down by the river taken by Harrison Marks and sent through by Kevin from one of his original negatives. Location wise I’m still not sure this is Ewhurst, but rather a location down in Cornwall, as I’ve seen similar shots at this dam used in Kamera on Location 66 with Gill Evans.

Elaine Desmond – Pigtails on The Beach (Original)

A restored 35mm slide of Elaine Desmond posing for Harrison Marks on a Cornwall beach in pigtails. One of the better shots of her from this shoot and obviously a favourite spot for GHM, as these don’t appear to be from Kamera on Location 66, but the locations are the same.
