Julie Shearing: A Peachy View! (1958)


A visually stunning shot of the seductive Julie (Shearing) that was published in Solo No.4 P13 (1958) by Harrison Marks. This is from the original negative, and shows a beautiful rearview of Julie looking over her shoulder wearing just fishnet stockings and of course her trademark big dangly earrings. What makes this shot so stunning is the view of that perfectly peachy arse and the way her hips glide into her hourglass waist.

Some technical information for the photographers of us out there. This was taken on a Rollei Tessar 3.5 on Weston Film 200 with an exposure of a 10th at f14. Lighting was via a 2000 watts Tungsten light according to the information on the page right under Julies bum :)

More Backstage in Black! (1959)


Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35mm Pamar colour slide. I love the fact it looks like just a snapshot of them all as they undress, but I’m sure it was posed, which shows how natural all three were at posing. Pam looks great stepping out of that petticoat revealing her black underwear :)

Shot number 7 of Erica by Harrison Marks from a set of silver gelatin prints.  This time a standing shot allowing us to see all of her bumps and curves and a very knowing look.

Eva Nieman – Firm & Trim!


Another image from some recently restored 35 mm colour slides featuring Eva Nieman. Kneeling on a red stool at a dressing table, these images all have her wearing white panties with a red trim. Again, she seems to favour a headband keeping her long blond hair out of her face as she poses. I also notice the wedding ring again, plus the very nice floral wallpaper!

Eva and her fabulous figure are a firm favourite, so about time I posted another image from my collection of her :)

Lynn Reeves – A Bedroom Classic!


What a fabulous vintage glamour shot this is of Lynn Reeves.

Your classical stockings, white panties and corset shot kneeling on a bed cuddling a fluffy toy dog, love it! Throw in Lynn’s typical 1960s hairstyle and the floral wallpaper, and you have a classic on your hands! Let’s not forget her fabulous figure and a sneaky view of one small boob too. :)

Backstage in Black (1959)


The unforgettable Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35 mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide?

I love the fact it looks like just a snapshot of them all as they undress, but I’m sure it was posed, which shows how natural all three were at posing. Pam looks great stepping out of that petticoat, revealing her black underwear. :)
