Audrey Crane posing in the studio for Harrison Marks from an original negative scan. This shot was actually published in Kamera No.37 P27 (1961) along with several others of Audrey stripping from a very over the top dress edged with big spotted frills!
Barnyard Beauty Gill Evans (1967)
Gill Evans from a scan of an original negative with the slightly censored version of the same shot appearing in Kamera No.81 P37 (1967). Gill Evans was already a well known and popular model in other UK & US based publications when Harrison Marks offered her a place on his annual Cornwall shoot in 1966. All the photos from the shoot that he published were reproduced in Kamera on Location ’66. He also did a studio shoot of her and fifteen of these photos were published in Kamera No.81 including the front cover and the shot above.
A stunning beauty not used enough by GHM in my humble opinion :)
Pamela & Marie on Red
Re-edited & Re-published. A superb shot of Pamela Green and Marie Deveraux reproduced as a Pamar colour slide, that was originally published as one of the colour pages in Kamera No.14 (1958). A very clear, crisp shot of these two iconic ladies in a classic pose for Harrison Marks and one of my favourites featuring Pam and Marie.
Erica – Floral Seduction
Yet another shot of Erica by Harrison Marks from another restored silver gelatin print sent over by Girlymag, this time kneeling seductively on a bed with the floral wallpaper in the background. All the shots from this set are now published here.
Helga by Harrison!
Helga Berk/Berkmann by Harrison Marks from one of my original negatives, posing on a bed in one of GHM’s bedrooms in his flat. A great pose and a great nude shot of Helga showing off her slender body with a hint of hairy pussy. That’s definitely a wig she is wearing, but no idea why? I’ve found other shots of her doing normal modelling shots in Paris and although her hair is longer the colour is the same, and you can still tell it’s the same model. I know some models did nude glamour and always wore wigs to try to hide their identity, but this wasn’t a very good job. :)
Maya Zell
Maya Zell by Harrison Marks posing on the bed in stockings. Another model that appeared later in Harrison Mark’s career, and she featured in his third feature film ‘Nine Ages of Nakedness’ (1969). It appears as if she only did one still photo shoot and this was in the unidentified bedroom or, perhaps, bedroom set, shown above.
I’ve checked my Kamera editions towards the end and cannot find her in any? So maybe she didn’t get published, but I do know she also worked with Terry Sparks on a film called the Hell Fire Club, so maybe only did limited work?
June Russell – Femme Cover (1958)
Crushing corsets is June Russell on the cover of the Harrison Marks publication Femme. The first issue of Femme appeared in the summer of 1958. It had a Harrison Marks’ photograph of June Russell on the cover, but it featured photographs ‘from Britain, America, and the Continent’ of nude and seminude female models by other photographers as well as GHM himself. The 1958 edition had no issue number and may have been a one-off, but another issue appeared some time later. From this issue, ‘Femme’ reverted to the tried and tested 7″x 5″ pocketbook size and appeared as The New Femme No.1.
A stunning shot of June Russell in white corset, pink frilly knickers and fishnets and the floral wallpaper makes an appearance in many of GHM’s early shots.
June Palmer – Star Strip (Video)

It must be time for another Harrison Marks Film from his Kamera Cine Film collection. This time it’s Kamera Cine Film No. 48 ‘Star Strip’ (1964) featuring none other than June Palmer and Stuart Samuels. The story behind this film is simple, it features June preparing backstage in very little to go on stage and perform a striptease, with Samuels thrown in for a bit of light entertainment.
This film is one of the more common films by GHM that you can find out on the internet, but what is different about this version is it’s the 16 mm version of the film and not the standard 8 mm version. That means the quality of the film is much better and that comes across in this digital conversion, plus it’s the full end to end film including beginning and end titles.
This is for members only here, but if members can confirm if the video plays, as I’m trying to get videos working on the site again! :)
