Is It Chris, Susan or Robyn?

Although this model has previously been identified as Robyn, Jeff has found images of her under a different set of names.  There are two photo’s of the model identified as Robyn in the Carnival Spring Special 1956. On page 12 she is Susan Flynn and on page 32, she is Chris Flynn but on closer inspection they are the same person and Robyn.  So there you go we have a proper surname for Robyn and at least two first names :)

Jean Belvin Revealed! (1958)

This model or her name has been frustrating me since I started this blog a few years ago and the shot below was one of the first image restorations that I did.  She’s been on my unknown model list as No.4 for a long time, that is up until now thanks to Jeff.

Jeff has now identified the model as Jean Belvin, who not only appears in Kamera No.11 (1958), but other early Kamera publications such as Kamera Special No.2 (1958) and Toco magazines and Carnival Magazine (June 1958) as sent through by Jeff below

Jean Belvin-01

Thanks Jeff, another frustrating unknown model identified :)

Rusty Gaynor: Kamera No.55 (1963)

Harrison Marks did three photo shoots with Rusty and published 37 photographs of her across Kamera No.50 (1962), No.51, No.53 and, 55 including the above front cover and eleven other pages.  Shots of her also appeared in No’s 59, 63 & 74 and the large format hardback book ‘She Walks in Beauty’.

Rusty was originally a stripper from Soho and her full story ‘Rusty Gaynor: The Vice Queen’ can be found over on the Official Pamela Green site.

June Simpson – Mirror Mirror on The Wall! (Original)

And June Simpson is definitely the fairest of them all! A perfectly framed original from Kevin of June Simpson by Harrison Marks posing in front of a mirror in his Gerrard Street flat from the late 1950’s. You see a great profile of her body and exposed tits in the main shot and a clear shot of her face in the mirror reflection. A cleaver but stunning shot and Thanks to Kevin for sending it over.

Yvonne Warren by Harrison Marks

The British film actress Yvonne Warren (Romain) photographed by Harrison Marks. Yvonne was a film and television actress of the late 1950’s and 1960’s appearing in several Hammer British horror films and best known for her role in ‘The Curse of the Werewolf’ (1961) where she starred with Oliver Reed in his first major role.

Curtains & Curves (Original)

Another fantastic shot of this curvy unknown model taken by Harrison Marks and taken from the same set as this colour shot of the same model. I think those pink curtains certainly look better in black and white for sure, if not the model.
I’ve made some updates to the unknown models page and added this redhead beauty to the list, until such time that someone identifies her.

Gloria Lomax & Some Odd Wood!

A wonderful shot of the lovely Gloria Lomax in her prime taken from an original negative by Harrison Marks. A different shot of Gloria and looks to be uncensored, but I’m not sure about the wooden figure in the shot behind her! At first, I thought it was some form of Owl, but on further review I think it’s a female figure?

Valerie Williams by Harrison Marks (1950's)

I’ve seen this model pose for Harrison Marks in a number of early shots, but never been able to name her until now! That was until I came across a dressed shot of her in Art Advertiser and Studio News, which named her as Valerie.  I’ve posted on other shot of Valerie before as unnamed here
