Bathtime With June Palmer (Original)

I’ve seen one shot from this set before and it was one of my first June Palmer shots I published over on Tumblr here, but here are two more from the set.

These are originals sent by John and obviously from 120 film and taken in the late 1960’s, but as John says the bottle of Miss Dior on the side of the bath might give a clue as to when the picture was taken. Any packaging experts out there to help identify the year?  I’m sure my gran had that wallpaper as well!  These images were in excellent condition and needed a slight pink tinge removing and some minors specks of dirt.

Finally, what the hell is that contraption on the wall in the bottom picture?

More June in 3D

What better way to start the day than with June Palmers magnificent chest in all it’s glory and in 3D as well! This is another original JP image taken by John W and converted into 3D.  Some images and poses just lend themselves to be in 3D and this is one of them!

The Look! – A June Palmer Original

This wasn’t going to be my intended post of an original June Palmer shot this week, but when I saw the above shot from John W last night I just had to share!

June sure could work the camera as everything about this shot just oozes sensuality! The look in her eyes (which are green!),  the chin resting slightly on  the pushed up cleavage, or the tongue brushing across her teeth!

Absolutely stunning!

The image comes from a 35mm slide scan and is pretty much untouched, other than the odd speck of dirt removed and every detail can be seen in such an intimate and close-up shot.  It’s part of a set of 8 photo’s that John got from Teri Martine herself, but it’s unknown who took the shots.  The Sheepskin rug makes another appearance and a chaise lounge in other shots, so it’s an educated guess that these were probably taken at Strobe Studio’s and by Arthur Howell.

It goes without saying that the JP images John provides are blowing me away, so I know I say it, but thanks must go to John for sharing his collection with me and then you.

Diving With June Palmer (Original)

I’ve been scouring the archive’s for inspiration for my 500th post, but nothing jumped out until I saw these again.  I decided the post should be JP related, but wanted something different, so when I saw these it was decided!

June Palmer in the late 1960’s on holiday diving!  One with her in scuba gear preparing to dive and then two of her doing some nude snorkeling (my favourites!)  Apart from her great bum, the two underwater shots are fantastic and love the bubbles surrounding her on the last shot.  I’ve done very little to these shots apart from some minor colour adjustments and removing the odd blemish, but the quality on the underwater shots was amazing!

These were probably taken by Arthur Howell on holiday and again the best guess is Corsica as it seems to be a favourite holiday location.

So this was my 500th post since March when I started this blog, Wow! Thanks must go to all the contributors who have helped with the quality of this blog and the fantastic original photo’s that have been sent to me, including John W who provided the 3 images above and allowing me to share them!

Venetian Rear View (Original)

After a lot of very positive feedback from the last post of June and the venetian blinds, another JP original from John W. This time the lovely rear view of June with the blinds casting shadows across that perfect derriere.

Speaking to John, these shots were taken on a half frame camera at Arthur (Howell) and Junes house in South London in 1986 after they closed Strobe Studio’s.

The video ‘Triangle’ featuring June (I have a copy and will publish it soon) was shot there as well. John mentioned that “June gave me a lift back from there to Waterloo station, and we passed through Catford. I remember as there was a huge figure of a cat over the high street!”

Another interesting insight into the later part of June’s modelling career from John.

June Palmer With Venetian Blinds (Original)

Another JP Original and another great shot from John W, who took this excellently composed shot of June next to some venetian blinds.  I just love the great use of the light coming through the blinds and the contrasting areas of light and shade on Junes body. Perfectly posed by June and taken by John in 1986.  Thanks as always to John for allowing me to share such a wonderful and original shot.

Joanna Kent & The Mirror

June Palmer as Joanna Kent posing in the mirror.  Taken from an original 120 film negative but edited by me and thanks to John for sharing the original with me :)

A Cheeky Shot of June Palmer

This must come close to one of my all time favourite shots of June Palmer as she got older.  The pose as she looks over her shoulder and slowly lowers her knickers, along with the great outline of her figure … wonderful one might say!
Thanks again to John for sharing such a beautiful shot!

June Palmer – Original 'Brides in the Bath' 16mm Film Scan

A scan of an original piece of the colour 16mm film ‘Calamity June’.

This was from a reel of pieces of offcuts and out-takes from Arthur Howell, provided to a contact of mine John.  John pulled together the pieces and produced the version of ‘Brides in the Bath’ currently showing on this site.
This piece of negative is towards the end of the film where George is trying to kill off his third wife (June Palmer), but she fights back!

A Young June Palmer (Original)

A scan of an old photograph of a young June Palmer with long hair and wearing a see-through negligee.  The original photo came from John W and was ‘old and rather crumpled’ in it’s original state, but has been edited to remove creases and colour restored where possible.
