Dedicated to the published work of Harrison Marks & other prominent photographers of the 1950's, 60's and early 70's. Along with popular glamour models such as June Palmer, Pamela Green, Dawn Grayson and others
All four shots of the fabulous June Palmer from an original 35 mm colour slide set in my collection. A wonderful studio portrait of June in the prime of her modelling career. Posing topless in black fishnet tights, long black gloves and pearls.
Superb colours in these shots that help highlight June and that topless figure, classic stuff! It also seems red curtains as a background was the in thing back in the 1960s. :)
A shot of an older June Palmer that comes from a set of 6 slides of her posing nude in the studio on a yellow plastic covered floor with cream background. The slide mount for this image shows it was taken at Scotlee Studios, taken in the 1970s and this particular slide was No.206.
I particularity like this set because we see June’s slick oiled up body in the shots, as well as her natural pussy on full view, a perfect combination.
A small set of images of June Palmer taken in the 1970s wearing sheer black panties and a low cut bra. Posing and teasing her figure and tits in front of a mirror.
June Palmer as Joanna Kent (Long blonde wig) at Strobe Studio’s, posing nude as she sits on a chair backwards. A beautifully posed shot, and she sure knows how to put a chair to good use when posing for a shot!
June Palmer from the 1970s in a leopard skin outfit and posing with a rather large axe! Another set of June sent over by John, posing on the ‘Metal Bars’ set and taken in the 1970s at Scot lee Studio’s. It seems that this set was popular for June to pose on during this period.
A very colourful set of pillows/cushions they are as well, all aligned like that for her to kneel on! But enough about them and more about the stunning form of June in this shot and her own fine set of pillows :) Scanned and restored from one of my own 35mm slides, the colours in this shot, both from the background and cushions really work well against June’s naked body.
Two shots from a set of 35 mm negatives featuring June Palmer in the Alleyway, wearing a leotard. I originally published these separately several years ago, but these are better copies.
I love the pose from June in the leotard as she leans against the alley wall, with a buxom bosom showing, but I’m also sadly intrigued by the location and where this was taken. I wonder if it was taken near Strobe studio’s in Clapham and as you look back up through the alley you see a woman walking past what I think is a sign for Midland Bank?
Another shot of June from the ‘Little White Number‘ set of 35mm images. This one is a little out of order from the others, as it’s jumped to June kneeling, with the little white number pushed between her thighs! Restored the best I could, but the highlights on her face were too blown out to recover.
I have thousands of June Palmer photos from the 1950s to the 70s, including early Spick & Span images and those by Harrison Marks and Arthur Howell. Less common are her 1980s photos, just before she stopped modelling. Luckily, some exist, and below is the last professionally posed photo of June Palmer.
This was the last image on the last film shot on 23rd November 1987 at a studio in Chelmsford around 1 pm. It was taken by John W., who had previously provided original June content for this site, and took the shot himself. John started photographing June at Arthur Howell’s Strobe Studios in South London, which were advertised in the Amateur Photographer. He also hired June for private sessions, which cost £40 for 2 hours, and continued to work with her after Strobe closed. After taking the last shot in Chelmsford, June mentioned she was going on holiday to the Bahamas and would show him her tan when she returned. She later wrote to him about getting married again and giving up modelling, making this the last professionally shot photo of June Palmer.
