A great studio shot of Dawn Grayson by Harrison Marks, taken at the same time as this shot in 1965, also another rear view! This is a more artistic pose of Dawn as she kneels with her hands and fingers extended, but does give us a great view from behind!

A New Blue Dawn!


Another scan from my growing collection of Dawn Grayson medium format negatives, again no nude stuff, just an underwear shot! Saying that, it’s another superb shot of Dawn in a blue underwear set and the quality and colours from this negative were excellent, with very little tweaking required. The original scan size of over 5000 pixels is equally good and in time I’ll post a larger version to the site, but for now enjoy! I love the look on her face, the pink lipstick and that coy finger placed on her chin.

Dawn Grayson – Sculpted Beauty (Original)

An unusual black and white shot of Dawn Grayson (Kay Kirkham), in that it’s of her face only. This is a scan of an original 35mm negative from a seller over in the US and hasn’t been cropped in any way, but clearly shows the sculpted beauty of Dawn’s face. With her hair pinned up it’s a beautiful portrait, enhanced by the thick black eye make-up and perfect lines of her lips and brows. Sometimes it’s not always about a nude body such as this shot, but having seen one other shot from this set that I missed out on, I know she was nude from the neck down :)

Dawn Grayson – She Shook The Vicar!

Dawn Grayson from the pages of Carnival (July 1965) and the title refers to this post, where Harrison Marks and Dawn clashed with a vicar over a British safety council poster featuring Dawn supporting safety glasses, but not a lot else! What an outrage, as looking at the poster I would object too, the words are obscuring Dawn’s best bits, shocking!

Dawn Grayson – An Uncensored View (Original)

I’ve been away for a few weeks on holiday to sunnier climates, but back now and fully refreshed :)

I thought I’d start with an original image sent over by Kevin from Pinupmemories of one of my all time favourite models, well top 5 anyway! A beautiful uncensored shot of Dawn Grayson by Harrison Marks. I just love the fact all Dawn is wearing is stockings and suspenders and that both highlight that beautiful smooth mound of hers. You don’t see many uncensored shots of Dawn Grayson, but this is up there as one of the best!

Five beautiful shots of  Dawn Gayson (Dawn Grayson) from Girls of the World No.1  The accompanying text read:

‘We seriously consider that beautiful Dawn Gayson fully earns the title ‘Special Girl of the World’.  Not only is she something special, but she has travelled all over the globe.  Born in Scandinavia, not far from where these shots were taken, Dawn now lives in London.  Her flame-coloured hair can be seen to full advantage on the back cover of this magazine.’ (below)

Three days since a Dawn Grayson post, so I better resolve that and post these two great non-nude shots of her.  I think I’m addicted to DG!

Dawn Grayson – Latest on a Lovely Lady

Following on from my post ‘Well I Never Knew That!’ that reveals the real name of the gorgeous Dawn Grayson, plus comments that she went to America, I found this little set from Spick No.232, dated March 1973.  As well as featuring several photographs of DG posing in various stages of undress to expose her stockings and underwear, it also gave an update on her whereabouts.  According to the short text DG moved to America with her husband a year before this article, as he had a highly paid position in electronics.  So that would mean they moved to America in early 1972, where she continued her modelling and blossoming film career?
I wonder what happened beyond that point?  Anyway as I find these little titbits I’ll add them to her profile page, but with a discretionary word of caution that these magazines liked to embellish on the truth when it came to the details of the models.  So, believe what you will!
