Julie: Just Pearls!

Julie (Shearing) from another colour 35 mm Pamar Slide by Harrison Marks. This time kneeling on multiple coloured sheets nude, apart from holding some pearls and wearing the big dangly blue grape like earrings. Thanks to Kevin for sending this stunner over. :)

All Tied Up With Julie!

A beautifully restored 35 mm colour Pamar slide of Julie by Harrison Marks. Julie at her absolute best wrapped in a rope and nothing more! A stunning model and figure that always looked so elegant however she posed. :)

Just Georgina!

Everyone sees an image differently, and scanning and editing original negatives is no different. What I think works with contrast, colours and sharpness may not be to everyone’s taste, but that’s why we’re all different! This image is a good example, as it came from an original scan of a negative using a wet scan, which uses fluid on a flat scanner to remove scratches and imperfections from the image (go look it up!). I then took it and enhanced the colours, focus, and crop to give the results above, not a bad effort I would say!

The image itself, it’s taken by Harrison Marks and the mode is known as Georgina or Georgina Michele.

Bridget Leonard: Skull & Crosses!

A restored 35 mm colour Pamar slide of Bridget Leonard by Harrison Marks. Some interesting props in use with the skull and the big cross necklace, both of which have appeared with other models of that period. The skull pops up everywhere, and the necklace adorned the beautiful neck of Rita Landre (Pamela Green) in a similar set of Pamar slides I’ve posted before.

Rona Scott: A Whimsical View!

Another beautiful restored shot of Rona Scott (Roma) from the same set as this shot, but having progressed a little further. Now Roma is nude and laying on her tummy with nothing more than a pair of high heels, some dangly earrings and a whimsical look on her face!

Hyldagarde: Restored Kneeling Beauty

The sexy and very busty Hyldagarde (Hilde Beck) from a restored 35 mm colour slide sent over by Kevin. This slide comes from the later Harrison Marks slide sets produced later in the 1960s, and this particular slide comes from set No.41 of Hyldagarde on the Egyptian set.

Which brings me on to the subject of GHM’s colour slides (and others) and if they are worth buying? Slide sets of his models pop up on eBay all the time and range anywhere from anything up to £100 per set, depending on the size of the set and model in question. But nearly all of them when you look at the images are completely red or a faded magenta colour as they have over the years lost their original colouring. Yes, the models are clear, and we mustn’t forget that these sets are over 50 years old, but would you really pay £100 for a set of faded red slides? I suppose it also depends on what you want them for, to complete a collection, then in that case it may well be worth it, but anything other than that seems to me to be a waste of money!

Please, this is just my own honest opinion and yes in the past I have paid over the odds for slide sets because they were June Palmer or some other model I liked regardless of the redness to the slides. I buy them to scan for this site and try to restore them, but nearly always they are so red there is little chance of recovering the colour, other than converting the images to black and white. There are exceptions, as some slide sets seem to have survived better over the years than others, and Hyldagarde above is a fair example of some colour remaining. It also seems that the colour in GHM’s original Pamar slide sets seem to survive much better than his later sets, maybe better quality production back in the late 1950s?

Regardless of this fact, faded or red if they are Harrison Marks slides they continue to sell in whatever condition. Finally, would I pay £100 for a set of non faded, non-red Harrison Marks slides in good condition? Probably as it is, Harrison Marks! :)

Hat’s Off To Gloria!

The beautiful Gloria Lomax posing for Harrison Marks from a scan of an original negative. A superb shot of Gloria’s slender figure and small, perky tits as she kneels there nude with a hat propped against her knees. A view to brighten up any dull day. :)

Elegantly Posed!

Another beautifully posed and elegant unknown model taken by Harrison Marks in the studio. A shot that shows GHM at his best in the 1960s and getting the most from his model and her slender body and small, perky tits. I have her down as unknown model No.62 :)
