Pam’s Perfect Workout!

A ‘Non-Blonde’ image of Pamela Green posing in long dark wig and scarf, using a towel to hide anything too sensitive. Taken on a beach on the Isles of Scilly in 1958 and produced as part of a Pamar 35 mm colour slide set, most of these shots ended up in the Kamera on Location book, but as black and white. The reproduction and restoration of colours on this slide is one of the best I’ve seen and comes from my own collection of Pamar slides.

The pose of Pam here actually makes it looks like she’s doing some sort of exercise workout, although I’m sure it’s just one of those ‘artistic’ poses Harrison Marks used to make her get into :)

Pamela Green – Drift Wood Pose (1958)

You can’t beat some good wood as a prop in a glamour pose and this shot is no different! Pamela Green posing beside some drift wood on a beach in the Isles of Scilly from Kamera on Location (1958). Pam looks stunning in these shots of her wearing the long darks wig and there something about them makes them stand out from other times she was posed in a dark wig. I think it may well be the use of the make-up with the fuller lips and dark eyelashes that make them differ. To most it may well not be obvious that it’s Pamela Green without the familiar long blonde locks!

Pamela Green Striking a Pose! (1958)

What has quickly become my favourite ‘Non Blonde’ image of Pamela Green posing in long dark wig using a towel as a makeshift scarf/shawl. Taken on a beach on the Isles of Scilly and published in the pages of the hardback book ‘Kamera on Location’ (1958). Similar to another shot from the same set here, it doesn’t really look like Pamela with the pout.

I’ve managed to acquire a very good condition copy of Kamera on Location and I must say the images of Pamela and the other models (Marie Deveraux & Lorraine Burnett) are all fantastic :)

Julie Nash – Staircase To Heaven!

Julie Nash better known as Teri Martine in long dark wig seductively waiting at the top of the stairs for you! I found this over on Redheadkingpin’s Tumblr blog, where he publishes some of his original vintage negative collection, including this one. He comments that this is from an original 120 format colour negative and that it’s June Palmer posing as Teri Martine. An obvious mistake as both June and Teri posed at the same time and wore wigs and used different aliases to confuse you, but this is clearly Teri as Julie Nash.

Still a wonderful shot and I love the contrasting black stockings and red underwear in this shot and let’s not forget the wallpaper!

Thanks to Redheadkingpin for sharing :)

Marie & The Wicker Chair!

Another from the set of Marie Deveraux posing nude on a wicker chair by Harrison Marks. Shots from this set seem to appear across various publications from GHM, this is one of two shots appearing in Kamera No.86 (1968). This is the third shot from this set.
