June Palmer – A Slick Look! (Original)

I’m enjoying posting the recent shots of an older June and this is another good example. This shot comes from a set of 6 slides I won over on eBay of June posing nude in the studio on a yellow plastic covered floor with cream background. The slide mount for this image shows it was taken at Scotlee Studios, taken in the 1970’s and this particular slide was No.206.

I particularity like this set because we see June’s slick oiled up body in the shots, as well as her natural pussy on full view, a perfect combination.

June & The Cowrie Shell Necklace, Part 2 (Original)

Hot off the press from John W another stunning print of June posing outdoors and at one with nature, apart from a Cowrie Shell Necklace used as a bracelet. One assumes that it’s the same necklace used in this shot, but actually around June’s neck this time! As usual June has a perfectly balanced pose on those rocks, even if the hands and bracelet are somewhat obscuring a better view, but then she always seemed to be able to place things in such a way to tease us even more.

Two shots of June posing in front of a familiar fireplace in black underwear. I think this must either be a well used set or more likely a room used by June and Arthur Howell, as I’ve seen other shots of June posing in front of this fireplace with the same props, electric fire, sheepskin rug and same ornaments and clock on the mantel. I also have this of original images of Terry Graham posing in the same location. Thanks to John for these two shots of June.

Two shots for members only that give you a wider shot, showing more of the room, including the full fireplace and bookcase to the right. you will also see the rapier swords on the wall, that have been seen in other shots of June on the wall, and in use. Again giving it credence that the images were taken by Arthur Howell at Strobe or home?[/member]

It’s Curtains For June (Originals)

Two original shots of June scanned from 35mm negatives by John W and restored by my good self. both show a longer haired June posing in front of some silk curtains, one wearing a slightly opened (pink) dressing gown and a rear view of June with a red sheer sheet around her waist. The silk curtain is also a red and I know this because I have the two same images in colour, but from smaller poor quality scans. This does raise the question as to why there are both colour and black and white negatives out there of the same shot? One assumes they were mass produced for sale as slides in both colour and black and white?

Two great shots of June in front of the curtain that work well in black and white, as well as colour.

June Palmer – Three Birds in a Bush!

I came across this shot over on Tumblr posted by Magoothings and had never seen this shot of June before. The shot taken in a garden location features not only a young June, but also Nancy Roberts (stood) and Maureen Frawley a third unknown model. I never knew June had posed with Nancy, but it would make sense that their paths must have crossed at some point and this is one of those occasions. At a guess I think this location may be somewhere like Sheplegh Court around 1960, with the photographer being Leslie Bainbridge? Only because both June and Nancy posed for Leslie early in their careers, but I may be completely wrong.

It’s still a great photo of June and friends and when I asked about it’s original, Magoothings said he’d seen a copy of this shot on eBay Germany, but I could find it to see if there were any others.  Thanks to Magoothings for letting me share this great image, plus another of Nancy over on Kamera Club, and if anyone can shed any light on this image or the third model, please do let me know?

Edit: Thanks to Portland, who has identified the third model as Maureen Frawley :)

June Palmer as Calamity June (Original)

Thanks to JAS, who sent through this brilliant scan of June from the box image of the 8mm cine film of ‘Calamity June’. This was by Arthur Howell under the Strobe Films banner and was Strobe Films No.1 and the colour 8mm version. JAS also sent through a complete scan of the box as well, but it needs some tidying up, so will post that later, but I wanted to share the image now. A superb shot of Junr in cowboy hat and gun holster, but be careful you don’t shoot too soon ;)

June Palmer – Passport to Smoking Pleasure! (Original)

A brand new shot of June from John W’s collection, showing her enjoying a cigarette in front of the camera. I just love the use of the black background to help capture the smoke in the shot. John also included some quotes from cigarette adverts back in the 1960’s/70’s, such as ‘You’re never alone with a Strand’, ‘Cool as a mountain stream’ and ‘The international passport to smoking pleasure’. I can’t say I remember any of those, as I was far too young, but still funny seeing cigarette’s advertised in such a way, when now you can’t even show the packets in the shop, let alone see an advert on TV!
