Lorraine Burnett – All Made Up! (1958)

A very glamorous and made up Lorraine Burnett from Kamera No.21 (1959). Seen here posing nude and with heavy make-up and kneeling on a very familiar towel/rug that I’ve seen in other early Harrison Marks shots. He definitely re-used his props!

Lorraine Burnett by Eva Grant (1957)

Lorraine Burnett posing in a red and white polka dot bikini from Fiesta Magazine (June 1957). This was from a feature of articles by Eva Grant called ‘changecoat’ showing how the appearance of a model can be complete changed by clothes, hairstyles. lighting etc. This was changecoat No.6 featuring different images on Lorraine Burnett.

Della & Lorraine – Too Much to Handle!

You get plenty of BPI (Boobs Per Inch) with these two posing together and does it get any better than Della Fox and Lorraine Burnett together? I even have a shot of these two together in 3D, but don’t stare too closely as you’ll see more than double!

Lorraine Burnett – Caught in the Act!

Lorraine Burnett with a very severe haircut looking like she’s either been caught in the act of doing something or trying to look coy at being naked and trying to cover up her breasts and other parts! I’ll go for the later, but her expression just looks comical rather than real! You can just hear her saying  “Oh don’t!” like something out of a ‘Carry On’ film :)

Lorraine Burnett in Colour (Coloured)

I can’t keep up with the quantity and quality of the coloured images at which Oldiznewagain is churning them out, so cheating and taking the easy option and adding a few in one post to try and catch up!

Two shots of Lorraine Burnett coloured from two of my original posts, with the original after each coloured version.

Kamera Special No.1 (1957)

Kamera on Location (1958)

Both very good coloured versions of the originals, but my favourite is the top one as the colours look more realistic. It’s probably easier to colour a person and the skin tones than an outdoor location, as the sand, rocks and grass in the second look slightly unnatural. I also note that by colouring the images Oldiznewagain loses some of the grain and texture from the original black and white versions, giving the coloured versions a smoother feel. Again, not a criticism, rather an observation, as I know I couldn’t do anywhere as near a good a job as these and leave that to Old!  Restore yes I can do that, colour not on your life!

Lorraine The Tea Lady!

Lorraine Burnett from the Tri-coloured page of Parade No.1195 (3rd Nov 1962)wearing a see through baby doll nightie and fluffy slippers! She could serve me tea like that any day of the week!

A Quizzical Lorraine Burnett

Lorraine Burnett from the pages of Kamera No.33 (1961). There are two shots of her in this issue and this is the better of the two, with her wearing this white transparent negligee! I give her a bit of a hard time on this blog for never smiling or always pouting, but this is a much more natural look from her. Still not a smile and more of a quizzical look, but I prefer it and besides with her figure who cares if she smiles!
