Franni Leigh: Skirt No.25 Cover


Fanni Leigh (Polly Eltes) on the cover of Skirt No.25 with the photo taken by Terry Sparks. I always like it when I come across a published image either on the cover or within the pages of a vintage magazine that I also have in my original collection and this falls into that category. I recently published a similar black and white version of Franni by Terry here, then what do I find on my travels but a magazine cover featuring one of the shots, but in colour. Unfortunately I don’t have any colour shots from this set of Franni, but at least I now know the colour of her top!

Ann Austin: Fotag No.2 Cover


The sumptuous curves of Ann Austin gracing the cover of Fotag No.2. I love how these magazines were defined as 48 pages of photographic studies, when basically it was cover to cover nudes.

June Russell: Kamera No.16 Cover (1959)


June Russell and that very colourful towel on her head posing on the cover of Kamera No.16 (1959). The image has obviously been flipped on it’s side to fit the cover, but still a fabulous shot of a nude June Russell. The towel she’s lying on also looks familiar and was used in several shots with Pamela Green from Kamera on Location.

Kamera No.27 Cover (1959)


One of my favourite early Kamera covers featuring Pamela Green and Jean Spaul (Sporle) posing in the living room of GHM’s flat. Not much more you need to say about it really, other than it’s a classic cover and even today has an elegance and style about it that can’t be replicated.

Kix Featuring Maria Frost


Maria Frost, from the cover of Kix magazine, as she poses in white stockings and suspenders on the front seat of a car. As well as a copy of the back cover and a colour topless photo from within the magazine. Apart from the colour shot, all other images of Maria are of her posing in the car, but loving the colour shot and those silver stockings!

Another front and rear cover from my collection of Exciting Magazines. This is from Exciting No.21 featuring a stunning model showing off her figure and pussy. Not really a rearview on the back cover, but I’ll not complain!

Ann Austin: Solo No.1 Cover (1958)


The delicious Ann Austin on the cover of the very first edition of Solo by Harrison Mark in 1958. I thought I had posted this cover some time ago, but checking back it seems I missed it, how remiss of me! So here it is and Ann looks as stunning as always sat there naked on the cover.
