The cover of the first edition of Amber by Russell Gay, featuring a model I recognize but unable to name at present? This first edition featured classic models posing in underwear or topless such as Nancy Roberts, Erica, and Rochelle Lofting and was published towards the end of the 1950s or possibly the early 60s. Classic stuff from Russell Gay and up there as some of my favourite early glamour publications along with QT, Model, and Coral.
June Palmer on the cover of Kamera No.69 (1965) and posing on the Roman Bath set. Kamera No.69 was a popular edition for June, as she not only does she appear on the cover, but also on 12 of the 48 pages inside.
Danielle Denese sat in an armchair topless from the cover of Coral No.55. Worth every shilling of its cover price I think, even if Danielle is looking very pouty on the cover, and what is that strange mouse thing on the table?
The fabulous Doreen Pierre on the cover of Girl Illustrated. No, it’s not the original cover, but one created by myself, along with a coloured image.
Continuing from my collection of Cover Girl & Exciting Magazines, the front, and rear cover of Cover Girl No.22 from 1968. I think I prefer the rearview of this edition, as you get a great view of the model’s great arse and a hint of bush.

Crushing corsets is June Russell on the cover of the Harrison Marks publication Femme. The first issue of Femme appeared in the summer of 1958. It had a Harrison Marks’ photograph of June Russell on the cover, but it featured photographs ‘from Britain, America, and the Continent’ of nude and seminude female models by other photographers as well as GHM himself. The 1958 edition had no issue number and may have been a one-off, but another issue appeared some time later. From this issue, ‘Femme’ reverted to the tried and tested 7″x 5″ pocketbook size and appeared as The New Femme No.1.
A stunning shot of June Russell in white corset, pink frilly knickers and fishnets and the floral wallpaper makes an appearance in many of GHM’s early shots.
Mary Deighan, Jean Spaul (Sporle) and of course Pamela Green on the cover of Kamera No.31 (1960). All looking rather tanned as they pose nude, but Pam tanned more than the others, as I think she regularly topped up that tan at nudist camps. :)
The front and rear cover of another edition of Exciting Magazine. This time Exciting No.15 featuring a model in stunning blue satin high heels showing off her slender figure. Not quite a full rearview, but near enough! And I’m not quite sure what it is she’s sitting on, but looks like some type of dressing table.
Another model from my collection of contact sheets from the Cover Girl/Excite Magazines, with this one teasing us to what she has below her jumper! I have several sets of this model but for some reason only two of her in this jumper. I love her figure as she lifts her jumper to reveal it below, especially that slight curve to her stomach as she kneels on the chair! Nice heels and stockings as well :)
