Another shot from part of a large collection of original contact sheets I purchased, where there was a whole section of harder content, including some familiar faces and bodies. Plenty of freckles and other things on view, but as it’s her birthday, it seemed appropriate to post one of my shots. :)
I originally posted the published version of this Audrey Crane shot here in 2014. The original retouched version appeared in Kamera No.37 P23 (1961), but I now have the original negative of the shot, so thought I’d post a much clearer and uncensored version. As you can see the clarity is much better and even shows that Audrey had a fine covering of hair down below that the retouchers attempted to remove and not very well I may add!

The stunning and sandy Maria Deveraux by Harrison Marks posing on a beach on location in and around the Isles of Scilly. Taken in 1958 during a visit to the islands, there are many similar shots of Maria posing on the beach that were published in ‘Kamera on Location’. This shot didn’t seem to make the cut, but comes from a scan of the original negative taken at the time and worth of any publication. Another beach beauty. :)
Another original Harrison Marks shot of a model named as Josie Montya, posing naked leaning back on a desk and showing off a very different style down below, almost half-and-half! I say named as Josie as several shots of this model appear in New Kamera No.1 (1969) under the title ‘Just Josie’ where she is referred to as Josie Montya a beautiful French student. But we all know how Harrison Marks liked to give his models made up names! Whatever her name, a different view of another GHM model. :)
Something to take us into the weekend. An Original 1960s 6 by 4 Print by Russell Gay of the very ample assets of Hilde Beck. I just love this print and Hilde has a great look to her including the animal print panties and suspender belt and an even better pair of tits! A second shot from this set can be seen here.
On the back of this print was the stamp for Russell Gay Studio’s in Great Portland Street, London, and that’s it. No details of if this shot ever went on to be published anywhere, but it seems too good not to have been printed!
A beautifully posed and elegant unknown model taken by Harrison Marks in the studio. A shot that shows Harrison Marks at his best in the 1960s and getting the most from his model and her pose. 1960’s glamour at its best! I have no idea who she is, but I have several shots of her in the studio from this set and have her down as unknown model No.62.
The cover of Cover Girl No.25 from the mid 1960s and featuring a different view than you would normally find on this type of publication. These European publications normally heavily feature models with a full on bush, popular in Europe at the time. This edition is one of the few to feature a shaven model on the cover and within, and rather nice she is! Plus, you wouldn’t get such an open and explicit cover on a magazine like this in the UK.

I’m trying to build up a collection of both Cover Girl and Exciting magazines, but they are hard to find in good condition. So far I’ve managed to acquired 7 editions of Cover Girl, 5 of Modern Girls and 10 editions of Exciting, including the very rare No.1. Still more to go but slowly getting there! :)
Another shot from the set of June Palmer with long hair from a restored 10 by 8 print taken circa 1965. Taken on the bed in one of the bedrooms at Ewhurst Manor, this sultry shot has June flashing her perfectly round bosom as she looks directly at the camera with a very mischievous look on her face!
Random post in the shapely form of 1980s porn star Anna Ventura.
A completely natural beauty, this dark-haired, pouty-lipped, full-breasted, lush-bodied vixen from came from New York and was around for only a short time. However, as quickly as her star rose it disappeared, with Anna apparently leaving the adult-film business to marry and raise a family at the end of the 80s. A stunning original shot of her posing on all fours on the bed, showing off those exquisite curves and body that gained her such a wonderful reputation. One of several original 35 mm shots of Anna from this set.
The beautiful Robin (Alicen Warden) posing sat on a rock ledge at the river edge by Harrison Marks. All the shots I have of Robyn are taken on location down in Devon in 1966. This river and location were used extensively by GHM, but I have no idea as to which river it was? It will have been somewhere near Bedruthen in North Cornwall, but that’s as far as I know. :)
