Hanging With Alouette

A beautiful shot of a stunning 1970s US model I’ve got named as Alouette Delphine by Ron Vogel. Alouette has a fabulous figure on view, including a very lush pussy. But what attracted me to this shot was the way one of the tassels from whatever it is she is holding has fallen across her hard nipple and stayed there. I think it must have been intentionally done for the shot, but it still catches your attention, along with everything else on view!

A Titillating Teri Martine

The tantalizing Teri Martine from a restored 35 mm colour slide taken at Norlond Astoria Studios in the 1960s. Sent over by Paul from Firebird from his huge collection of 35 mm slides of different models all posing at Astoria.

Monique: Boudoir in Black

A boudoir shot of Monique Deveraux by Harrison Marks. I like this shot of Monique, especially the patterned black panties and stockings she is wearing, plus the bling on the heels. Sometimes having something on adds to a shot rather than being naked, and this is one such shot in my opinion.

Laid Back Anna

Anna Verdi, leaning back on a sofa arm as she poses for Harrison Marks. Another versatile 1960s UK model that worked with all the key photographers of the time. Great slender figure and natural look. :)

Maria Clarence Laid Bare!

Maria Clarence beautiful and bare from an original negative scan, with the published retouched version of this shot appearing in Kamera No.46 P15 (1962).

Her first appearance was in Kamera No.45 (1962) and further photos were published in issues No.46, 47, 48, 50, 55, 56, 60, 61, 66 & No.75. She also appeared in Kamera Special No.3 and six pages in the hardback book ‘She Walks in Beauty’. Maria was chosen for the 1962 Cornwall location shoot, and a total of nearly eighty photographs of Maria were published, including duos taken with Margaret Nolan and Jane Mathews. There are two known sets of 35 mm Colour Slides of Maria, No’s 24 and No.32 with Margaret Nolan from the Cornwall shoot.

Just Georgina!

Everyone sees an image differently, and scanning and editing original negatives is no different. What I think works with contrast, colours and sharpness may not be to everyone’s taste, but that’s why we’re all different! This image is a good example, as it came from an original scan of a negative using a wet scan, which uses fluid on a flat scanner to remove scratches and imperfections from the image (go look it up!). I then took it and enhanced the colours, focus, and crop to give the results above, not a bad effort I would say!

The image itself, it’s taken by Harrison Marks and the mode is known as Georgina or Georgina Michele.

A Quick Dip With Gill

Gill Evans having a quick dip in a rock pool down at the beach in 1966. Taken by Harrison Marks in the summer of 1966 at Bedruthan in Cornwall. Gill was a model from the second week of the trip and seemed to enjoy being in the water, as she is photographed in the sea, rock pools and a river in various shots throughout Kamera on Location 66.

Incidentally, I’m heading down to Cornwall next week, so may just have a visit ot Bedruthan, although the steps down are closed now limiting access.

June’s Little White Number

The start of yet another fantastic set of images of June Palmer from the 1960s, posing in a little white baby-doll négligée in the studio. This is a full set of 36 images from a complete 35 mm film, ranging from fully dressed to completely naked, with various stages of undress in between! These first two show June posing still covered by the négligée, but that doesn’t last long!

June Palmer: Perfectly Posed

The stunning June Palmer by Stefan Glass and shot is part of the huge Stefan Glass Set. It’s also a slightly cropped version, but I’ve only removed some side to this shot so you can focus on the main subject, June’s young naked body!

A wonderful shot of her sat on the sofa, posing as she examines a pot of thistles!
