June on Glass – Box 1, Plate No.13

A glass photographic plate of June Palmer taken by Leslie Bainbridge in the studio (12th August 1960).

This shot has June laying against some pillows, one knee raised as she rests an arm on the knee. A beautiful view of June’s young full figure as she looks at the camera and casting a shadow behind her. Unfortunately there is a shadow on the left-hand side and in other shots I wasn’t sure if that was in the studio at the time or on the glass plate itself. This shot seems to show that it was a shadow in the studio as it curves in the bottom left of the shot.

Rita Landre – A Colour Femme Fatale! (Original)

Rita Landre (Pamela Green) posing on the Parisian Alley Set by Harrison Marks. I’ve published several shots of Pam as Rita in this location here, but think it is one of my favourite sets of her as Rita.

This shot is even better as it’s in colour, so you get to see Rita in vivid colour. I love the smoke in the shot and all the Parisian posters, which again look much better in colour, as does that glorious figure of Rita/Pam 😉

Rita Landre – A Femme Fatale!

Rita Landre (Pamela Green) posing on the Parisian Alley Set by Harrison Marks. I’ve published several shots of Pam as Rita in this location here and think it is one of my favourite sets of her as Rita. She definitely comes across as a bit of a femme fatale in these shots and could almost certainly lead you down a dark path of desire!

A third shot from the set of June Palmer photo’s by Stefan Glass showing a full on uncensored view of June posing by the window. I love how the light comes through the open window to light up the curves of her fabulous body as she looks out! Definitely a room with a view from both inside and outside if you happen to look up at this point 🙂

Rita Landre – Shadows of Desire (1959)

Rita Landre (Pamela Green) posing on the Parisian Alley Set by Harrison Marks. This is a scan direct from the negative, but was originally printed in Solo No.13 P40 (1959). I’ve published several shots of Pam as Rita in this location here and think it is one of my favourite sets of her as Rita, including the colour shot of her kneeling! I have several more from the same set, which I will post anon, but thanks to Simon for sending me this and other scans from his Pamela Green collection.

Through The Square Window with Kay & Gwen (1960’s)

Found over on Tumblr a very arty shot featuring Kay Fitzsimmonds (Inside) and Gwen Ford (Outside). A beautifully framed shot and I especially like the shadows being cast on Kay’s body from inside the house. Gwen has a cheeky smile on her from outside and I can just imaging her poking her tongue out for the next shot. One of those odd shots I just stumbled across and instant recognised the models 🙂

The Sleek & Elegant June Simpson (1959)

Another wonderful shot of June Simpson posing for Harrison Marks wearing the daisy earrings from Kamera No.20 P20 (1959). A simply stunning pose with that long blonde hair and daisy earrings, and probably from this set, including one of my own original colour negatives.

A Bamboo Framed Rona Scott

It seems that this bamboo frame was another staple prop for GHM as it appears like the sheepskin rugs in numerous shots! This time the frame is expertly used to show off the figure of Rona Scott and the use of the shadows from the lighting is near perfect. Look at the shadow from the bamboo cane that expertly hides her pubic region, clever or just luck?
