Merle Henry by Harrison Marks posing in his living room. A beautiful sculpted pose from her as she kneels showing of her slender form. One of my better shots of Merle and I’ve always wondered if she was English or where she came from as there is something about her look and colouring. :)
Another model from the Terry Sparks stable, this time Jo O’Brien, taken in August 1978. I have 72 images of Jo from 6 contact sheets, with her posing topless as in this shot, with the odd fuller exposure if you know what I mean! Although Jo only has a small pair on her, she did seem to possess larger, darker areola with nice rounded button nipples than some of the other models that posed for Terry.
Another treasure from Terry Sparks, this time in the shape of bushy babe Maria Edge. This striking shot of Maria was taken by Terry in December 1972 and shows off her slender figure and small tits to perfection, along with that very thick bush synonymous with 1970s models, not that I’m complaining.
This shot comes from a set of eight contact sheets featuring Maria in different locations and poses, but for some reason her face rather than her body stand out for me, as I’m sure I’ve seen her somewhere before? I have no idea where, but probably scanning through a copy of some men’s magazine in the past I’ve registered the face or body, and it stuck with me. Anyone recognize her?
An original shot of an unknown model taken by Harrison Marks in the studio showing off her fabulous body. I love the smoothness of her body and the way the light reflects off it, showing all the bumps and curves of her slender body. At first I thought this was Marina Jones, but I’m not so sure, as she tended to have a natural pussy rather than shaven. Plus there is a model that looks very similar to her in body shape and tits size, so think this is her?
Another shot from my collection of contact prints, this time Caroline by UK photographer Ken Greenwood. I have over 70 shots of Caroline in various poses and stages of undress, but this is one of the favourites. I particularly like the way she is stood with her hands on her hips, showing off her slender body and dark thick pussy. The big gold chain as a belt is a nice touch as well.
I know the name Ken Greenwood and have several other sets of models taken by him, but know very little about his career or even if he had his work published. Looking at Caroline and the other models, one would assume they did appear in the magazines of the late 1960s and 70s?
A simple but effective shot of Claire Dobson by Leslie Bainbridge kneeling on some cushions nude. I have a mixture of shots featuring Claire from original prints to several contact sheets and in nearly all of them Claire is showing off her fabulous body and perfectly smooth pussy, apart from one small set. In that set of 6 prints, not only is Claire wearing some clothes, but she also sports a full hairy pussy too. She looks to be the same age, so I wonder if she was persuaded by Bainbridge to get rid of the hair at some point?

Another beautiful shot of Annlyse posing on a black background for Harrison Marks from an original medium format negative. A great shot of Annylse in the studio, and I do like the shots GHM took using a black background and lighting highlighting all the right bits!
I now have 17 editions of Exciting in my growing collection, and they are certainly different from the magazine style of Harrison Marks and other UK photographers. Most shots are by Serge Jacques, and he certainly had a more open and differing style for his models to pose. Not everyone’s taste, but the style of the magazines and models has intrigued me, so thought I’d explore them a bit more! ;)
From my growing collection of Exciting Magazines, the front, and rear cover of Exciting No.26 from 1969. This curly haired beauty isn’t shy in showing off her front and rear either, with two very open but classic continental poses on view. I’m not sure if her hair is natural or a wig, but the collar and cuffs certainly seem to match!
After my post about Eva Nieman and ‘The Amorous Masseur’ I found an original still from the other Harrison Marks Glamour Film ‘The Amorous Masseuse’ in my collection, but I didn’t realize it was from that film until now. This film featured Yvonne Paul (left) and Toni Lee (right) and was again produced in a black and white version and a Super 8 colour version from Ekstase film No. E 317 titled Die Liebesvolle Masseuse.
I love Yvonne in this shot with her very 1960s hairstyle and wearing suspender belt and black stockings, showing off that beautiful full bush.
A beautiful shot of Penny Raye by Howard Roark from my collection. Love this set of her posing in that wicker chair in tights with her great little figure and tan lined tits. Those hands creeping down those tights, teasing us, as though she’s about to reveal a little more. ;)
