Another original shot of June from 1973 taken by an amateur photographer that met and photographed June on occasions, this one showing her in a reclining view on a chaise lounge. The original was again very orange, either on purpose (filter) or due to negative quality, so converted to black and white. The focus seems to be aimed higher up June’s body on her face and upper torso, rather than the lush bush seen at the bottom of the shot (shame!).
Joanna Kent – How To Ride a Chair! (Original)
From the John W archive we have June as Joanna Kent (Long blonde wig) in the studio posing nude as she sits on a chair backwards. A beautifully posed shot, but it does look as if she’s holding in the tummy muscles a little for this shot, but then maybe not!

June Palmer – She’ll Be Saw in The Morning! (Original)
June posing on the set of the ‘Danger Girl’ produced by Arthur Howell and Strobe Films. This is the contraption that in the film June was strapped to naked as the saw got closer to her head, before she overpowered her abductor and threw him on the same saw! A great shot of June posing on set and another great view of her rear. I’m not sure that saw looks like it will cut anything strong than paper, but who’s looking at the saw anyway!

June at Work (Originals)
Over the time this site has been running John has sent me various candid shots of June working at Strobe studios and I always planned on writing an article about June at Strobe, but just never got round to it! I either got distracted with better images that I wanted to publish, or, well there isn’t another excuse I just didn’t do it. To rectify that here are three shots of June at work at Strobe in the 1960’s. She can be seen sat posing dressed (for now!) in a very 1960’s style tunic as photographers go about taking shots of her. What amazes me is that her cigarette’s aren’t very far away and you can see the ashtray and her smoking in a couple of shots. I know she smoked most of her life, but I didn’t realize she smoked so much.
Thanks to John for these 3 candid shots, with another for the same set still to publish.

The Look! – A June Palmer Original
This wasn’t going to be my intended post of an original June Palmer shot this week, but when I saw the above shot from John W last night I just had to share!
It goes without saying that the JP images John provides are blowing me away, so I know I say it, but thanks must go to John for sharing his collection with me and then you.
