Maryanne by Rob (Originals)

I do love it when I get sent through stuff by followers of my sites, be it their own copies of models from the 1950’s and 60’s or as in this case their own work! Rob is a member of both this site and my Just June site and contacted me earlier this week saying he had some June images he wished to share and if I was interested a few of his lovely wife. I’m never one to refuse such an offer and glad I didn’t because the images Rob sent of his wife were stunning, as you can see below! I don’t know if Maryanne ever modelled professionally, but she sure looks like she could have and her body is fantastic, with my favourite shot being the large one below, closely followed by the ones of her in the denim hotpants! These were taken in the early 1970’s and as Rob says he had ambitions to become a ‘glamour’ photographer, but never achieved it full time as life took him in a different direction. Either way a stunning model and wife that I’m happy to share on here with thanks to Rob for allowing me to share them :)

Jennifer Garland – Striped Tights & Tits (Original)

Jennifer Garland showing off her fancy tights and tits with very pronounced nipples by Harrison Marks.  My god she had a lot of freckles all over her and I’m pretty convinced that was a wig she was wearing for this and a similar set of her posing on a bed.  Nice to see the sheepskin rug again!

A Cuddle From The Boss! (Original)

A different shot from an original negative, showing a semi informal shot of Harrison Marks himself posing with Monique Devereux in the late 1960’s. Taken on a sunny day in the grounds of either Ewhurst or Walden (at a guess) it shows GHM giving scantily clad and topless Monique a cuddle for the camera. I’d say a rare shot of GHM in front of the camera, but there seems to be plenty of informal shots around of him with the models taken by his team, and there was always such a photo at the beginning of most editions of Kamera and Solo.  A great shot of him regardless and he has a big grin on his face, but wouldn’t you with your arms wrapped around Monqiue dressed like that!

The camera you can see to his side is an Arriflex cine camera, probably 16mm with extendible hood, so obviously shooting one of the many glamour films he did with Monique.

Julie Jordan: Carnival (July 1965)


From the centre pages of Carnival Magazine (July 1965) we have a very sexy looking Julie Jordan (Sandy Lydon) lying on a Tiger skin rug. Looking far more attractive than some Harrison Marks shots I’ve seen, she also had a very small perky pair of boobs and very slender figure compared to some other models.

June Palmer – Fancy Fishnets (Original)

The start of a new small set of June posing in different rooms of a house in some fancy fishnets and black panties. June looks fantastic posing in those fancy fishnet tights, but not sure if the house is Ewhurst or Walden, so maybe someone can enlighten me?

Julie – A Wild Pose! (1957)

Julie (Shearing) posing nude on a leopardskin rug from Kamera Special No.1 P92 (1957). I love Julie and this pose is no different, in the way she is leaning forward giving us a great view of her curves and the shape of those boobs, as she looks sideways at the camera, beautiful!  I still find it fascinating, that although she looks so Latinesque she was an English beauty through and through, looks as they say can be deceptive.

A Modest Margaret Warhurst (1950’s)


Another scan from an original Walton slide sent through by Jeff B, this time featuring a known model, Margaret Warhurst. This one took some restoration as it was very red and under exposed, but it has come up great and shows a great shot of Margaret posing in the studio with a sheer red sheet covering her modesty.

Anna Verdi – A Woodland Houri!

Anna Verdi as Nanette Pouchard from France, appearing as a woodland houri in Heels and Hose Vol.3 No.3 Quarterly edition (1961) covering April/May/June. I had to look up what Houri meant as I hadn’t got a clue with that one, but it means a voluptuously beautiful young woman, or nymph both very apt! This scan along with several others come from Oldtimeerotica over on Tumblr, so thanks to Ads for allowing me to share his scans here.

I also noticed looking through the scans that a number of Harrison Marks models appear in the same magazine, but again under different names, including Dawn Grayson, Cleo Simmons and Lena Ellis to name three. I’ll post those pages soon as well.
