Right! before anyone moans about the bad editing, other than scanning and removing some scratches I’ve not touched these images of Eve Eden! These images are all from Photographic Rhythm No.1 by Lawrence Venn and raise all sorts of questions. Like why were the images not only retouched in the nether regions, but also the eyes! If you look closely the eyes on these and most of the other pages in this magazine look drawn on and not very well! It also looks as if Eve herself has been cut out and pasted onto a white or black background, again very badly. The top images is the best, but they get progressively worse as you go down the page. Which raises the question … why? I know the main attraction of Ms Eden wasn’t her eyes, but still I can’t stop staring at them, when really my attention should be focussed on her wonderful figure, especially the second image :)
Virginia Green in Full Length Colour!
Virginia Green in full colour from the centre pages of Model No.14 by Russell Gay. This was a tri-fold spread across 3 pages carefully stitched together for your viewing pleasure. What an absolutely fantastic curvy figure Virginia had and on view here, apart from the retouching of the nether regions a perfect shot!
Jane Matthews

Two restored 35 mm slides of Jane Matthews from the early 1960s. The originals were colour but the slides had degraded so much all that was left was the magenta colour and despite best efforts no other colour could be restored, so decided to convert them to black and white. At a guess I’d say these were late 1950s or early 1960s and taken by Bob Robson.
Lorraine Burnett in Colour (Coloured)
I can’t keep up with the quantity and quality of the coloured images at which Oldiznewagain is churning them out, so cheating and taking the easy option and adding a few in one post to try and catch up!
Two shots of Lorraine Burnett coloured from two of my original posts, with the original after each coloured version.
Kamera Special No.1 (1957)
Kamera on Location (1958)
Both very good coloured versions of the originals, but my favourite is the top one as the colours look more realistic. It’s probably easier to colour a person and the skin tones than an outdoor location, as the sand, rocks and grass in the second look slightly unnatural. I also note that by colouring the images Oldiznewagain loses some of the grain and texture from the original black and white versions, giving the coloured versions a smoother feel. Again, not a criticism, rather an observation, as I know I couldn’t do anywhere as near a good a job as these and leave that to Old! Restore yes I can do that, colour not on your life!
Cleo Simmons – One You Wouldn't Throw Back! (Original)
Let’s start the day with another original scan, again from Kevin over on Pinupmemories. This time we have Cleo Simmons posing in a cave sitting seductively on a lobster pot surrounded by fishing nets! That’s one cave you wouldn’t mind entering and if you caught Cleo you’d keep her for sure!
Thanks Kevin another great scan!

A Young Ann Austin (Original)
A great original shot of a young Ann Austin reclining nude on the bed, but those magnificent breast are unmistakeable! Thanks must go to Kevin from Pinupmemories for sending this through to me and allowing me to share it here.
