Presenting Eve Eden

From Dawson Publishing Co. comes the cover of a small format magazine dedicated to Eve Eden, who also appears in tricolour on the front and back covers. There was a collection of these magazines, all titled ‘Presenting … Model Name’ and all under the guise of being a magazine for artists and photographers. Any excuse to see your favourite model nude!

June Palmer – Sultry Stocking Strip (Original)

A restored silver gelatin photo of a young June Palmer slipping out of her stockings, sent over from Girlymag. On seeing this image I thought I recognised a few things, such as the bamboo cane wallpaper and the animal print panties June is wearing and that I had seen images from this set before. I wasn’t wrong and found several more images from this set were published in Connoisseurs Choice & Modelling Review Magazine Vol.4 No.1, along with another shot of June in those fishnet tights.

Thanks as always to Girlmag for this great photo of June, which he is currently selling along with another huge selection of familiar models and photo’s over on his eBay site here.

Jean Belvin – A Highlighted Profile (Original)

A restored silver gelatin photo of Jean Belvin giving us a great profile side shot of her face and classic 1950’s hairstyle as she sits and poses nude for the camera. I don’t think the image has been retouched and looking closely I believe she was smooth down below, but the curve of her inner thigh looks odd? Probably just the way she was sat and it takes nothing away from the rest of shot of Jean.

Diane Hedges – All Hair & Frilly Knickers (Original)

A restored 1950’s silver gelatin photo of Diane Hedges posing with her arms above her head wearing just a pair of frilly knickers. It looks like she had short hair at this time, which would align with other shots I have of her, but for some reason the photographer has added a long hair extension! Thanks to Girlymag for sending over this shot of Diane.

A Big Pair With Very Little Support! (1950’s)

A restored 1950’s print of an ebony women with a big pair of tits and a bra that works well on a visual level for us men, but adds very little in the way of support for the large chest of the model! But who am I to complain about the view :)

Pamela Green – An Exposed Countryside View! (1950’s)

A restored image of a red-headed Pamela Green from a colour Pamar 35mm slide taken by Harrison Marks in the 1950’s and sent over by Paul from Firebird Records. The original had the common red/orange hue to it, but after a bit of tweaking it came out better than expected, apart from the slightly over exposed highlights on Pam’s chest and lower region. But then Pam is exposing pretty much everything in this shot countryside view anyway!

Jennifer’s Perfect Pair! (1959)

A close up shot of Jennifer Garland’s perfect pair of tits from Solo No.7 P31 (1959), which was entirely dedicated to images of Jennifer. One of GHM’s close up artistic shots using light and shadow to highlight this beautiful bosom, which even shows up the fine hairs. A perfect pair!

A big thank you again to Paul from Firebird Records for a copy of this edition of Solo :)

Pamar Colour Slide Catalogue (1957)

I’ve been after a copy of this Pamar Colour Slides catalogue for some time now and thanks to Paul from Firebird Records I now have a copy to share. Pamar Productions Ltd was formed by both Pamela Green and Harrison Marks in June, 1957 (Even before Kamera No.1 was published) with both being equal partners in a venture to provide quality 35mm slide sets of the models. This catalogue shows 81 sets produced under the Pamar title, but these shouldn’t be confused with slide sets titled ‘Harrison Marks Colour Slides’ and produced by Kamera Cine Films, of which there were 70 sets produced. Another difference between the different slide sets was that originally the Pamar sets came in a small box, whereas the later sets were sold in a flat transparent plastic wallet.

Having now looked through this catalogue I realize I have over 30 individual Pamar slides in my collection, but unfortunately no full sets! It seems that over the years these sets have been broken down and sold on individually, with many not even having the original grey cardboard holder, just the colour negative itself.

Enjoy the catalogue below and I hope it helps identify the slides and sets produced, as I know it helped me, as I now have to go back and tag the slides I’ve collected to the set name and number. All good fun!

Three Backstage Beauties

Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35 mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. This reminds me of this image that started me on this journey back in 2013, where does the time go! Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide?
