A stunning shot of a 1950’s beauty posing in a living room in just her matching pearl earrings and necklace, with just black high heels on. A very classy, but for some reason sexy shot and as you can see there is a theme to today’s posts! Thanks to Oxxbridge Galleries I have a set of 9 prints of this beauty posing in her pearls and it must have been at Christmas as one shot is of her like this next to a Christmas tree!

A very classic 1950’s hairstyle as well, but love her whole look and figure, all enhanced by the pearls and is it me or does she resemble Lucille Ball a little bit?

Update: Thanks to Phil who has potentially identified this model as Geri/Jeri Archer who was a model and actress in the 50’s and 60’s and appeared on The Phil Silvers show (Sgt Bilko). I don’t think we are 100% convinced this is her, more like 50/50, but the nose and stature are similar?

Virginia Green – When All You Need Is Earrings! (1950’s)

She me be naked or topless, but Virginia Green has a cracking pair of earrings on, so that makes everything OK :) and to be honest it works! Back in the 1950s and 60s the models just seemed to look that bit more elegant or classy as they posed naked with their gloves or jewels on than they do today.

I love this shot of Virginia, as it looks as though she’s been out for the evening and then just stripped off leaving her hair up and earrings in place, and why not :)

Eva’s Wild Side (Original)

A double meaning to the title this time, in that it’s a play on Eva’s surname Wild and a bit of a wild shot as she’s laying on a leopardskin rug :) Still a great early shot of Eva Wild by Harrison Marks, but he did like his animal skin rugs back then didn’t he!

Two restored shots from original prints of Rochelle Lofting from the 1950’s. These come from a set of four prints of Rochelle sent over by Oxxbridge Galleries and having an educated guess I’d say these look like Harrison Marks shots, but I’m not 100% certain? These two shots also show her pretty prominent smallpox vaccination scar on her upper arm.

Josephine Watson – Playing Statues! (1958)

An artistic pose from Josephine Watson from Kamera No.11 P15 (1958) as she kneels leaning on a small statue base. Her face may be slightly obscured, but we still get a great view of her figure in this very arty shot from GHM.

Gloria Conlan – Hello Tiger! (1958)

Gloria Conlan posing astride a Tiger headed rug from Kamera No.7 P4 (1958) and sorry I can’t resist a good double entendre when I see one, but god that’s a big pussy between her legs! :) Now that’s out the way I do wonder if Harrison Marks also did this shot with that very joke in mind, one does wonder? Jokes aside Gloria has a great figure and this is the last of two images of Gloria that appear in Kamera No.7.

June Simpson – A Cheeky Little Rear View!

A cheeky little shot of June Simpson from an original Pamar colour slide. Another Harrison Marks shot from this studio set of June, but this has great use of shadows to give June’s back and bottom great shape and contrast. What a view of her arse and one of my favourite sets of June, but wait till you see the set of her posing nude in a paddling pool!

Two restored prints of Josephine Watson by Harrison Marks. After having only a few shots of her and not knowing who she was I now have several sets of her by GHM, one of which she is posing in front of the familiar floral wallpaper, like these two shots. Very striking feline like make-up and love the rear view in the second shot, as you get to see the dimples on her bum, plus the perfect shape of her boob!

Jean Rogers & Judy Geeson

I’ve published the dark haired beauty in this shot before and have several other shots of her, but I first came across her in this shot posing with Jean Rogers. Jean is another late 1950s model that caught my eye, or at least her big tits did! She appears in many late 1950s prints, both alone and with other models and seems to enjoy changing her hairstyle frequently, mostly with wigs, as I’ve seen her with short blonde hair and darker variations.

The other thing I like about Jean is her figure, as it’s truly a natural curvy figure with a bit of a tummy on her, which isn’t a bad thing as it just makes her look even better. A great contrast in this shot between the models, a sort of thick and thin combination to enjoy!
