In memory of Pamela Green who passed away 5 years today, but left us a wonderful legacy of work and images, such as this early Harrison Marks shot of her posing in his apartment. The official Pamela Green site also has some very rare and unique shots of early Pam to enjoy. Gone but never forgotten!
June Simpson – Waves & Curves (1957)

June Simpson from Kamera Special No.1 (1957) posing on yet another animal skin rug for Harrison Marks. What I like about this shot is the way June is arching her back to extenuate her curves and the round curve of her bum. I also love the waves of her blonde hair as they fall down across her shoulders.
Valerie Williams: Sheer Black View (1950’s)

Four shots of Valerie Williams posing for Harrison Marks, in and out of a sheer black dress/négligée. The top two show off her curvy figure to great effect, and the rest showing her nice round tits. These were from a set of 14 silver gelatin photo’s of Valerie (see the theme today?) originally from the Bob Guccoine collection.
Josephine Watson – The Girl With The Feline Look! (1958)
Another unknown model (No.33) in my unknown model list until now, as she has now been identified, again by Jeff as Josephine Watson. She appears for Harrison Marks in Kamera No.3 and Kamera No.11 (above) and only a couple of times in each publication, but as you can see has quite a distinct look. Well Jeff came across her again in Charm magazine No.33 with her name and a very apt title, as her look is very feline. Thanks as always to Jeff for his effort in finding names to all these unknown models, obviously got too much time on his hands :)
Pamela Green – Amongst The Balloons! (Original)
A great shot of a dark haired Pamela Green posing amongst coloured balloons from a negative scan from Kevin. I can’t say I’ve seen any shots of Pam from this set before with the balloons, but it looks to be an early shot of her prior to her Kamera days? If I were to hazard a guess I’d say it was still taken by Harrison Marks, but probably appeared in Carnival or Foto in the mid 1950’s, but I could be wrong? I’m sure the Pam experts out there such as Simon or Yak can enlighten us more on the origin?
Wherever it came from still a very good colour shot of Pam with very little restoring required considering its age and thanks to Kevin for sharing.
Wicked Wanda (1950’s)
So another unknown model potentially identified from my list of unknown models, again sent through by Jeff. Jeff sent through the bottom image of Janet Riley from Carnival magazine (Jan 1957), who he believes is also the unknown model No.10 I’ve posted before from Photographic Rhythm No.1 (Top Shot). At the same time I also found the middle shot of the same model, but titled as Wanda, but that should be taken with a pinch of salt as it’s only in the title. So is this Janet Riley? The early image of her is very different from the others, but there are some facial similarities. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find any other references to her as Janet Riley or Wanda, so we will just have to go with what we have.
Thanks to Jeff for his continuing effort to go through my list of unknown models and trying to identify them :)
A Shaded June Simpson (1950’s)

The distinguishable June Simpson posing in the shadows on leopard skin rug for Lawrence Venn. This was taken from the back page of Photographic Rhythm No.1 (1950’s) by Lawrence Venn and it almost looks as though she’s mounting/riding that leopard in this shot!
Eva’s Wild Wallpaper
Eva Wild with dark red lips and perfect nips! Posing for Harrison Marks with the familiar floral wallpaper in the background. With perfect make-up those raised eyebrows and closed lips give a look of strictness about her, but then you realize she’s nude and your focus moves to those tits and hint of bush between her arms.
