Pamela Green – Just Her Dancing Shoes!

Pamela & June – A Laid Back Approach to Posing

I love it when I find an image of these two posing together as they must be two of my favourite blonde models from the late 1950’s! Problem is there weren’t that many of them together, very similar to Pam and Marie Deveraux posing together.

The Man & His Muse

The man himself, Harrison Marks with Jennifer Garland from the opening page of Kamera Backstage (1959). There are numerous shots of the GHM taking photo’s of all the lovely models that worked for him, but I tended to focus on the models rather than GHM for some reason. This shot as he says himself in the editorial has him looking rather sinister, but it’s a good one and includes Jennifer, so why not!

Della Fox on the cover of Sir No.3 (Late 1950’s?) in some very colourful blue sheer panties and contrasting red suspender belt. Another model that changed her hair colour as often as her knickers, I’ve seen her blonde, dark and now red!

Eileen Sheridan – QT No.13

Eileen Sheridan from the inside back cover of QT No.13 (1959?). 

The interesting fact about Eileen is she was the first winner of the Miss United Kingdom title in 1958. So if the timelines are correct, she did this either just before or just after winning the title, I wonder if they knew! She also won the Miss Great Britain title in 1960 and was also known for her association with the London underworld ‘firm’ headed by the Kray twins. A very colourful early career indeed!
