Sylvana Manto By Philip Gotlop (Original)


Another shot from the collection of original Philip Gotlop prints sent over by Paul from Firebird Records, but this time the model is recognizable, especially if you follow this site. The model so beautifully highlighted by the light and shadows is non-other than Sylvana Manto (Madelaine Bannister). A stunning shot of her by Philip, and I do wonder why his early glamour work has gone mostly unnoticed or avoided rather than his more popular work? Maybe as he became more popular, he didn’t want to be associated with this side of his photography, but we all have to start somewhere!

Carol Perry – A Cheeky One at The Dog & Duck! (Original)

I couldn’t resist this shot of Carol Perry sent over by member Whyriley, who used to run a photographic studio back in the 1960’s and 70’s. Carol was one of his models, but unsure if she was professional or amateur, but very photogenic and this shot of the two little toys balancing on her nice round boob is very cheeky! Thanks to Whyriley for sharing some of his work with me here :)

Ann Austin: Sleeping Beauty!


An original print of Ann Austin, apparently asleep in bed, but with the sheet down to give us a flash of one of her magnificent boobs! There is something quite voyeuristic about this shot and seeing Ann’s boob as she sleeps, which I assume was the point of the shot. I have several other shots from this set and the whole premise of the set is Ann sleeping nude between those silk sheets, slowly waking up and getting out of bed to reveal more of her glorious body in different poses. :)

Bobby Shaw: A Furry Outlook!


Bobby Shaw (Laurie Sands aka Julie Desmond) posing for Harrison Marks kneeling on a sheepskin rug in front of that bizarre background. Every time I see it, I’m reminded of the yellow brick road for some reason! Fabulous shot of Bobby showing off her lush bush, and from the same set as this shot. For some reason I really like this shot of Lorraine Burnett! I don’t know if it’s the hair (wig?) or the way she is posing her body, but I like it. I don’t think it’s the hair, so it must be the curves and pose and probably the fact you can’t see her face fully :)

Pamela Hing – A Lantern View (Original)

I have loads of images of Pamela, but until recently her name had escaped me, but then I came across her name in the ‘1950’s Glamour Book’ and now I have another name to put to a body and face. She was a popular model for Russell Gay and appeared in several of his publications including Amber and QT. This is a typical RG shot of her kneeling on a coloured chequered background. Fabulous figure as well :)
