Ann Austin in a magazine shot having a twirl with a hula hoop! Now that I would have like to have seen, as in those shorts and top keeping that hoop up would have certainly made things jiggle!
June & Eve: More Lambretta Fun!
When I found this first shot of June and Eve Eden posing on a Lambretta Scooter I had hoped I would find more, but had never found any until now! I saw this shot several weeks ago being sold over on eBay by Teri Martine, but knew it would be popular, so never bid on it. Fortunately for me John W did, and he won it along with a few others, so I now have a copy to share.
The text that accompanied this image from Teri on eBay suggested that it was June posing on the back of a British Lambretta scooter. It was done for the company that made the scooters, and quite possible it was used for one of their ads in a magazine. John also sent me some other shots of June posing in the studio on a Lambretta for the company Cowderoy & Moss Ltd, so this could also be for them?
The other model is Eve Eden who did another commercial with June on a scooter and potentially that was the first shot of the two I posted. A fantastic piece of memorabilia, and thanks to John for sending me a copy of this image featuring two of my favourite models. Surprisingly, the first shot of June and Eve is one of my most popular images, and they even had their clothes on!
Virginia Green – Devil’s View!
Another shot of Virginia Green amongst the props by Harrison Marks, similar to this shot from the same shoot. This one gives us a much clearer view of her body, and we are all looking in the same place as the devil’s head! Another original scan of a negative from Kevin, and a great one of Virginia that leaves little to the imagination!
The cropped and censored version of this shot was published in Solo No.15 P3 (1960)

A very dramatic pose amongst the hay from Margaret Nolan from page 111 of She Walks in Beauty (1964) by Harrison Marks. I think this must be one of the last solo shots of Margaret I’ve got to publish from SWiB, of which there are over 10 shots of her, but there are still a few duo shots of her to publish with Maria Clarence.

A smoking hot June in sheer outfit that leaves little to the imagination. Taken in the early 1960’s when we didn’t really understand the damage smoking did and it was still seen as cool and sexy to smoke in public and glamour photo’s. How things have changed with regards to smoking and June didn’t need to pose smoking to look sexy as hell, that just came naturally!

A studio shot of Pamela Green as Princess Sonmar Harriks posing with pink silk sheet and definitely one of the better shots of Pam as PSH. From this shot you can’t tell that it was boot polish all over her body, as not a smudge or smear to be seen and I’ve looked closely :) Scanned and sent over by Kevin from an original Pamar colour slide, with slight adjustments made to restore colour and remove a red hue.
June Palmer – Another Bed, Another Mural!
Another bedroom, another Mural and another fantastic shot of June by Stefan Glass! Again she’s posing in another bedroom of the same house all the other shots were taken, but this time posing in a sheer négligée with a flash of boob showing as she reclines on the bed.
June Russell: Sofa Seduction
Another shot from a set of June Russell on the familiar ‘casting’ couch used by many other models! Unlike the first shot here, she seems to have discarded the gloves and stockings in this shot, so obviously further on in the set. Still a very classy shot of June reclining on the sofa.
Another Day, Another Corset! (1962)
Two stunning shots of Vera Day from the book 1962 book ‘Vera’ by Harrison Marks. What’s not to like about these two shots of Vera in striking corset, matching black panties and stockings posing on the backstage set. I love the coloured shot of her by the ladder, but there’s something quite domineering about the second one with the way she’s stood, hands on hips! I know if I was confronted by her looking like that I’d do as I’m told! :)

The second shot of a small set of June posing in different rooms of a house in some fancy fishnets and black panties. June looks fantastic posing in those fancy fishnet tights and I love the view of her in this shot as she lays on the bed and looks back at the camera.
