Sissi Mississippi from Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.2 (1969) and a wonderful pose holding a teddy bear. I love the pouting expression on Sissi’s face in this shot and I’m not quite sure who is sporting the most fur, Sissi and her magnificent bush or the bear!

Dawn Grayson – Shimmering Strip, Part 1

Finally how could we be talking redheads without mentioning my favourite redhead of all time – Dawn Grayson. This woman just floats my boat in every way and here she can be seen stripping out of her shimmering dress and stockings, down to her white underwear.  A perfect strip tease of which there is more to come! Incidentally the top image was used on the cover of Span No.163, where the dress and stockings appear in colour as gold. Rita Landre – Redhead in White

If we’re talking redheads we must not forget one of my all time favourite redheads that wasn’t and that was Rita Landre, or as we all know now Pamela Green in red wig. This shot of Rita amongst the white fur by Harrison Marks comes from the Carnival Annual 1956 and looks to have come from the same set as her on the cover of Foto No.13, which then dates that magazine around the same time. I’m sure that looks like the top of her areola peeking out above the top of the fur?

Virginia Green – Contrasting Patterns!

I’m having a redhead sort of day, which isn’t a bad thing and continuing that theme we have Virginia Green amongst some very contrasting patterns! I don’t know which is worse the curtains, wallpaper or the bedding, plus you can throw in her floral panties for good measure. 

Is it me and my filthy mind or do those panties look to have black Velcro sides for easy removal? The look on Virginia’s face lends me to believe if it was Velcro she’d be game for showing us how easy it is to remove them. There goes my mind again :)

Ann Wilson – Girl Illustrated (1966)

Ann Wilson from the pages of Girl Illustrated Vol.1 No.3 (1966) and another redhead that always appeals. Of these 3 shots that appeared in the same edition of GI I have to say the middle followed by the last are my favourites, as I love those tasselled panties!

Annette Johnson – A Blonde in White High Heels

I must admit that although Annette Johnson was very popular through-out her career in the 1960’s and beyond and appeared in numerous publications I’m not a big fan! Saying that the above image is probably one of my favourites of her and I much prefer her early stuff with GHM than some of the later images. There are also some great images of her by Ed Alexander and I have a thing for blondes, so prefer her as above when she had the long blonde hair.

This images comes from Lenz No.3 and was taken by Ken Williams and she sure had a great pair of legs on her!

Margaret Nolan Branching Out!

Margaret Nolan from the centre pages of Glamorous Girls No.2, with the same image appearing in one of the later editions of Kamera that Margaret appeared in, sometime after No.50. Although the pose looks good I’m sure it wasn’t easy to stay balanced like that on that branch for long! No splinters anywhere delicate one hopes.

Gloria Lomax & The Transparent Negligee

Gloria Lomax or Donna Ambrose, whichever you prefer to call her posing next to a very ornate bottle that I’m sure I’ve seen Jackie Parker pose with as well. What was the point of the negligee other than the photographer can say she’s not nude, but she might as well be it’s so transparent! There’s even a hint of pussy showing, which for this type of shot usually found in QT by Russell Gay was quite daring. Still a wonderful shot of Gloria whatever way you look at it.

Anna Verdi: Eating Her Way to Stardom


Anna Verdi in Tri-colour from the pages of Parade Magazine No.1311 (23rd January 1965). Thanks to Portland for sending these images through and as he points out these look to be taken indoors at Ewhurst and she’s wearing the same watch as my previous two images, so potentially from the same time? I’ve got a bit of a thing for Anna at the moment so on the hunt for any other good images of her if anyone has some?

Erica's Bust

A great busty pose from the Germanic Erica by Harrison Marks.  Great lighting and pose in this shot and GHM seemed to favour Erica in these type of shots oiled, or it’s just the way the light reflects of her skin. For reference this shot was originally published on page 34 of Kamera No.87 (1968), but taken much earlier as she originally posed for him in the late 1950’s and early 60’s.
