Pamela Green – Drift Wood Pose (1958)

You can’t beat some good wood as a prop in a glamour pose and this shot is no different! Pamela Green posing beside some drift wood on a beach in the Isles of Scilly from Kamera on Location (1958). Pam looks stunning in these shots of her wearing the long darks wig and there something about them makes them stand out from other times she was posed in a dark wig. I think it may well be the use of the make-up with the fuller lips and dark eyelashes that make them differ. To most it may well not be obvious that it’s Pamela Green without the familiar long blonde locks!

An Oiled Up Erica

An oiled up Erica from Femme No.11 (1968), but a much earlier shot than the publication date suggests. Taken on the loft set and one can only marvel at the thought of seeing Erica’s fine figure glistening with oil!

Molly & The Mussels (1964)

About time I published some more Molly Peters and this one comes from Kamera No.56 (1964). Molly seen here posing on what looks like a very uncomfortable spot of a rock covered in mussels on location with Harrison Marks. Probably down in his favourite Cornwall location.

Vera Novak – Kamera No.57 Cover (1964)

My latest Kamera purchase dropped through the door today and I love the orange cover featuring Vera Novak.  Not sure about the heavily retouched/censored parts though as they make her look like a shop mannequin with that smooth nether region!

Elaine Desmond – River Dance! (1966)

A shot of Elaine Desmond down by the river taken by Harrison Marks and sent through by Kevin from one of his original negatives. Location wise I’m still not sure this is Ewhurst, but rather a location down in Cornwall, as I’ve seen similar shots at this dam used in Kamera on Location 66 with Gill Evans.

Vicky Ashley – Paddling Pool Pose

Never has a kid’s yellow paddling pool looked so inviting as in this shot! This is the second shot of Vicky Ashley taken by Terry Sparks in the grounds of Ewhurst manor in 1969 (10th June). A wonderfully composed shot by Terry of Vicky, with the wet yellow blouse working very well with the yellow of the pool. Only one more shot of Vicky by Terry left to go at Ewhurst, which is a shame as I’m really enjoying these shots of Vicky, especially this one.
