Jane Mathews – Take a Pose!

A fabulous shot and pose of Jane Mathews by Harrison Marks in his studio. Jane is perfectly framed as she sits there, posing between the camera and lighting with the obligatory leopard skin rug. Several images of other models on the wall behind and your starter for 10, can you name the 4 models in the images? Answers on a postcard to …

This image appeared in Kamera No.47 P26 (1963), along with 3 further solo images and 3 posing with Maria Clarence.

Dawn Grayson – Sheer Beauty

From a set that just keeps giving, the stunning Dawn Grayson in black bra and panties with matching heels and tan suspenders. Sat with her legs up, showing off the heels, she looks relaxed and gorgeous as ever. This is the 6th shot from this set and only a few left to go, which is a shame as I love this set.

Tied Down Diane!

The classic 1950s beauty of Diane Clare by Harrison Marks. Throw in a couple of rugs and some rope, and you have a typical recipe for a posed GHM shot back in the day. This is no exception, and Diane looks stunning laying there with rope wrapped around her body.

This shot actually appeared in the early edition of Kamera No.2 P27 (1957), along with 2 other shots of Diane.

Dawn Grayson – Enough to Drive You to Drink!

Dawn Grayson photographed by Harrison Marks on the Cinderella set in her rags! Dawn looks stunning even in rags and leaning over those barrels of Gin showing off her tits is enough to drive a man crazy.

Several shots of Dawn from this set appeared in Kamera No.57 through to No.59 where she appeared on the cover. I’m missing those editions, so not sure if this actual image appeared? but who cares as I have the original negative to blow up as big as I want. Maybe I need a life-sized version of Dawn :)

A Lounging Pam

The second scan of an original lobby card for the 1966 film ‘The Naked World of Harrison Marks’. I recently bought a full set of these lobby cards that would have appeared in the foyer of cinema’s showing the film. Considering the age and usage of these cards they are in excellent condition.

This second card features none other than the very elegant looking Pamela Green. Reclining on a chaise lounge in long flowing negligee she looks magnificent as ever :)

Robyn’s Tiptoe Tease

Another shot of the lovely Robyn Daye by Terry Sparks from my collection of original restored contact sheets. This time a rearview of her pulling down her black panties. :)

A Ripping Unknown Model

Another new unknown model from a set of 35 mm negatives sent over by Paul from Firebird Records. In this small set, she’s posing topless in a pair of tight jeans that seem to be ripping at the seams. Another that I have no idea on name, although she’s very appealing to the eye with a great pair of tits with puffy nipples. Also, another model that likes to wear a headband similar to Eva Nieman, not sure if she’s wearing a wig though?

There are several sets of this model, including 3 of this set that members can see in the models’ gallery. I’ve also added her to the unknown models’ gallery, should anyone come up with a name for this beauty?

Jane Steadman: Long Haired Lover!

Another shot of the beautiful Jane Steadman from a restored 35 mm black and white negative. This 35 mm set is by an unknown photographer, but contains over 40 images of her posing at Jason Studio’s. The above shot is from a set of 9 portrait topless shots in the studio, which members can see in full in the model’s gallery.

Cover Girl No.24 – Front & Rear

Continuing from my collection of Cover Girl. The front and rear cover of Cover Girl No.24 from 1968. I love the concept of a front view on the main cover and a rearview on the back. I think I prefer the rearview of this edition, as you get a great view of the model’s great arse as she leans over a very retro style chair.

A nice uncensored view on the front cover to that no doubt caught the eye of potential European buyers.

Some will say that this type of magazine and post isn’t for them, which I totally get. For me, it’s about capturing and revisiting a magazine that’s disappearing fast in today’s world. These magazines are over 50 years old now, and printed versions are becoming rare. Take into account that these type of magazines are also disappearing because they are seen as not acceptable by certain groups in society today. It makes it even more important to capture and celebrate these magazines, the models in all their fabulous glory and the photographers that pushed the boundaries back in the 1960s. Sometimes it just seems like we are going backwards in our views and everything needs to be censored in case it offends one group or another!

I say just enjoy it for what it is in your mind and if not just move along :)
