Elaine Desmond – Etudes No.7 Cover

Elaine Desmond sporting a wicker hat on the cover of Etudes Plastique Album No.7 (1955) by Belorgey and Roland Carre.  A wonderful 32 page French magazine, but unfortunately the only recognisable model is Elaine on the cover, the rest although very nice are unknown French/European models.

I must say that for a 59 year old magazine it is in exceptional condition, as these magazines have detachable covers similar to a dust jacket.  That means the magazine inside is nearly perfect condition with no wear to the page edges of discolouration. It came as part of a bundle of magazines I aquired and rather than putting it to one side to gather dust I thought I’d have a go at selling it on eBay.  Take a look if interested, but in the meantime enjoy the cover :)

Julie Collins From Busen

The Busty Julie Collins from Busen No.3 (1975) and for those that hadn’t twigged ‘Busen’ is German for Bust or Bosom, which in this case is very apt! Busen was published from the mid 1970’s into the 1980’s, but every now and then a 1960’s model like Julie would pop up!

In The Garden With Monique

Monique Deveraux posing in the long dressing gown that she wore several times and was a well used prop with GHM.  This was from the pages of Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.1 ‘Harrison Marks – A Series of Natural Art Studies’ (1969) ans shows Monique in all her glory!  Takne in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor by with the small square pond in the background.

A Smoking (Hot) Ann Austin

A Nude Ann Austin showing off her curvaceous body as she lays by the fire reading a magazine and having a smoke! Taken by Harrison Marks in his flat and another appearance of one of his cats in the foreground.

Making Hay With Maxine Miller

A beautiful shot from Ed Alexander of Maxine Miller reclining in a barn full of hay in a short black negligee falling open to expose those lovely pert boobs. Taken from ‘Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties’ (1964) by Whitestone Publications.

Pamela by Harrison Marks

A simply stunning shot of Pamela Green by Harrison Marks from his hardback book ‘Pamela A Portrait In 58 Studies’.  Another recent acquisition for my collection and a superb book full of wonderful Pam images.

A Surreal Surrounding For Lorraine Burnett

Lorraine Burnett from a set of photographs that appear in the pages of Karama No.1.  Lorraine appears in this set totally nude posing forwards and from behind, but  what intrigues me more is the surreal background.  From what I can tell it seems to be square sheets of tin foil with a smaller squared pattern randomly stuck to the wall behind her!  Very surreal and distracting, but not that distracting from the main subject :)

Patsy French From New Kamera No.1

A very nice shot of Patsy French from New Kamera No.1 (1969), Harrison Marks attempt at revealing Kamera in the late 1960’s and 70’s.  Edition No.1 was late 1969 by which time censorship laws were loosening and pubic hair was becoming more acceptable in shots, as shown above. Patsy is another model that posed for GHM in the later part of the 60’s, but this is the first published image I’ve seen of her from him.

Thanks to Gavcrimson for the full copy of New Kamera No.1 with 62 pages including plenty of bush and some well known GHM models, more to come :)
