Madeleine – Halfway Heaven!

A beautiful side profile of Madeleine Collinson by Harrison Marks. Taken in the grounds of Walden Manor, it shows off Madeleine’s figure and small, pert tits perfectly. I believe it was taken around the same time he filmed the Maximus film ‘Halfway Inn’.

Angela Jones – Dark Angel

Another one of the few shot I have of Angela Jones with dark hair. I’m not sure if it was a wig or dyed, but probably a wig. This shot taken by Harrison Marks has Angela kneeling on the front lawn at Walden Manor, overlooking the drive and house. Looking very dark and broody, you do get to see her figure, but the style of pose gives only a partial view of everything else. 😉

Monique Devereux – An Ornamental View! (Original)

Monique posing in the garden at Walden Manor (I think!) leaning over an ornamental planter and showing off her curvaceous body. If you look closely you can see that Monique has two nasty scars down the inside of her wrist, which I hadn’t noticed before, not that I would as I tend to be looking elsewhere! I wonder what they were all about? Thanks to Kevin for sending over this shot of Monique by Harrison Marks.

Maxine King by Harrison Marks

I have very few good shots of Maxine King, but this is one of them. This shot along with the other shot I’ve posted here seem to be taken at the same time on location at Walden Manor I suspect around 1964/65? This beautiful shot has Maxine kneeling on the lawn trying to hide her perky little tits and failing 🙂

Ann Wilson – Unusual Pond Life! (1965)

Ann Wilson posing in a pond from P33 of Solo No.44 (1965) by Harrison Marks and dedicated entirely to Ann.

I always assumed that this pond was in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor, but it wasn’t until Terry Sparks mentioned it, that the pond is actually in the grounds of Walden Manor, not Ewhurst. If you look on Google maps the pond is no longer there, but if you were to look at the front of the house it would have been down the left hand side, where a patio now stands between the house and large tree.

I’ve also seen images of Monique Devereux, Barbara Halks and Stevie Vaughan standing in the same pond as well. It must have been bloody cold and not that clean, so makes you wonder how GHM talked them into getting in the pond!

Gloria’s Come to Bed Eyes!

The beautiful Gloria Lomax posing nude on the stairs at Ewhurst Manor for Harrison Marks, taken from an original medium format colour negative. A simple but effective shot and who could resist that look! I think the mask on the wall beside Gloria has it’s tongue out, but who wouldn’t with a naked woman like Gloria next to you!

Ann Wilson – Taxed & Ready To Ride! (1965)

Ann Wilson from Solo No.44 (1965) posing in the open door of Harrison Marks white Buick, which was used in a number of shoots.  This shot clearly shows the tax disc on the side window giving the date of January 1965, which always helps when trying to date a photo. Not to be distracted at peripheral stuff, Ann looks equally stunning stood in that open door nude and I’d grab a ride with her any day!

Ann Wilson – Another Perky Redhead (1965)

 

Ann Wilson, another favourite redhead of mine and one that is also mistaken in some shots for the other redhead, Dawn Grayson. This may be due to the fact that both posed outdoors for GHM with his White Buick and both have similar body shapes.
Ann started posing for Harrison Marks in 1964 and the above shot comes from Solo No.44 (1965) dedicated to her. Ann was one of the few models to be shot by GHM in the house and grounds at a manor in Orpington, which we now know was Walden Manor. So it seems that the shots of Ann, Dawn and others with the White Buick may well have taken place at Walden and Not Ewhurst.
A great shot of Ann above and now I have many more to share thanks to getting a great copy of Solo No.44.

That’s Not The Alps, Terry!

 

After commenting yesterday that I was running out of snow shots for the festive season up popped this shot in my inbox from Terry, with the following note:
‘Looking at the site today I see that you say you are running out of snow pictures. I thought you may like the attached shot of me working with a French girl called Marieange, in the snow at Walden Manor. The quality is not great, it’s from a print given to me by Jim Clark (owner of Walden Manor) who took it. This was my first shoot with this girl and I also had a session with her and Rena Brown working together behind closed doors in a Boutique in Camden Town.’
Fantastic candid shot of Terry himself at work, although I’m not sure about the white winter coat and the poor girl must have been frozen like that! I’d love to see some of the Rena Brown shots as have so few of her for the site, but a big thanks to Terry for this great shot and always worth sharing.
