Rather ironic that the one you test with number 11 was the first Kamera mag I ever obtained. Can’t remember how, but I suspect I was too young and shy to actually go into a newsagents and ask for it, for fear that I would be refused or worse still a woman serving. Life was different then…
I was doing a paper-round in those early days and the newsagent had them on display but out of reach, but I dearn’t get it from there, my Mum was an old customer and used to go in to “pay-the-papers”.
I can vaguely remember being obsessed with the cover photo, my eyes were glued to it every time I went into the shop.
