I’ve been after a copy of this Pamar Colour Slides catalogue for some time now and thanks to Paul from Firebird Records I now have a copy to share. Pamar Productions Ltd was formed by both Pamela Green and Harrison Marks in June, 1957 (Even before Kamera No.1 was published) with both being equal partners in a venture to provide quality 35mm slide sets of the models. This catalogue shows 81 sets produced under the Pamar title, but these shouldn’t be confused with slide sets titled ‘Harrison Marks Colour Slides’ and produced by Kamera Cine Films, of which there were 70 sets produced. Another difference between the different slide sets was that originally the Pamar sets came in a small box, whereas the later sets were sold in a flat transparent plastic wallet.
Having now looked through this catalogue I realize I have over 30 individual Pamar slides in my collection, but unfortunately no full sets! It seems that over the years these sets have been broken down and sold on individually, with many not even having the original grey cardboard holder, just the colour negative itself.
The beautiful Ann Jones posing on the Roman Bath set from an original medium format colour negative. Taken by Harrison Marks, Ann looks divine sat on that marble chaise lounge. Is it me, or does that bust in the background look like Anthony Hopkins?
The third and my final lobby card promoting the GHM film ‘The Naked World of Harrison Marks’. This one features GHM again this time with Annette Johnson as she poses for him playing a Toulouse Lautrec character. Not a very exciting image as Annette is clothed, but this had to pass the censors and would have been up in cinema lobbies, so couldn’t be too risky.
Time for a new Dawn on the new site and a cracking shot of her it is! Taken by Harrison Marks in the studio with the chequered background behind. Dawn looks stunning with her hand carefully placed between those perfect tits.

The stunning Teri Martine by Harrison Marks taken in 1966 at Bedruthan Beach, Cornwall. Kneeling amongst the rocks and mussels on the beach we great a great view of Teri’s naked body and the sea behind her!
Although taken as part of the 1966 trip to Cornwall with several other models over two weeks, this shot doesn’t appear in Kamera on Location 66. Nor does it feature in Solo No.52 featuring Teri, so it does make you wonder why such a great shot didn’t make either?
The Stunning Chere taken by Harrison Marks relaxing in an armchair in his flat in a robe that’s barely staying closed. Another model that briefly posed for GHM in January 1966 and photos of her appear in Kamera No.73 & 74.
This shot was published in Kamera No.74 P32 (1966) and was only 1 of 3 shots that appeared of her in the white dressing gown, of which I have 2 of the 3 shots. A stunning body, great eyes and very pretty face that reminds me slightly of Barbara Halks :)
