Another shot from the Terry Sparks archive, this time the returning Alex Kershaw, taken in June 1975. Another of the many models that posed for Terry that seemed to prefer a wig rather than her natural hair.

I do wonder why so many models went for a wig, to remain anonymous or just Terry dressing things up, maybe he can shed some light on the reason for us? Two shots of June Palmer on different magazine covers from the same photo shoot, but wearing different hats! The first is from Practical Photography (June 1966) and the second from the US publication Man Junior (November 1967). In both June is wearing a two piece white swimming costume and posing with a tulip in front of a 1950’s bull fighting poster, but wearing different hats.
The shoot obviously had a Spanish theme to it with the poster in the background and the two types of hats she is wearing, a Sombrero cordobés the smaller black hat and the more well known larger Sombrero. I prefer the first cover as it is just a standard photo of June, whereas the Man Junior cover looks to be lower quality giving it an almost painting feel to it.

Probably a shot that was originally taken of Penny down in Cornwall as part of the Kamera on Location 66 set, as the river in the background seems similar to other shots from that set. Nice strategically placed knee and shadow. :)

Terry always manages to amaze me with his shots of new models I’ve never come across before, and this is a good example. This is German model Seiglinda Strauch posing in a bedroom at Ewhurst Manor for Terry in June 1966. A very slender and young looking model with a big smile and wonderful pussy on show! Terry recalls that she was known to us all as the SS girl, very cruel actually, as she was a very sweet girl who struggled somewhat with her English pronunciations’.
Terry’s title of the mail when sending this and another shot of SS over to me was ‘The German SS’, not very politically correct in the world we live in today, but then nor is posting naked women!
