Dawn Grayson – From Rags to Riches! (Original)

A beautifully lit shot of Dawn Grayson by Harrison Marks as she poses for him on the Cinderella set in 1964. The published version of this shot appeared in Solo No.43 P22 (1964), but was a slightly tighter crop than my version, but I prefer this one. Dawn’s face and small perky tits are perfectly highlighted by the lighting come from the right, as she poses with her hands under her chin and with her arms in mid air. Although wearing the rags of Cinderella, she definitely looks like a Princess to me!

Naughty Neva


Neva in the doorway of the Lantern Cottage set taken by Harrison Marks in 1966. A stunning dusky woman from Trinidad not blessed with the largest of chests, but more than makes up for it with her thick dark bush.

Cherry Orchard – No Hiding Place For Modesty! (1972)


Over the past years I’ve been busy scanning and editing my growing collection of new models taken by Terry Sparks and Cherry is one of those models! When I say new, I mean new to me, not new work! Scanned from a set of 10 contact sheets with 120 different images, I love this shot of Cherry trying to cover her modesty and failing as she poses in front of a mirror. A stunning model that looks familiar to me for some reason, but a fabulous slender figure on show and as with most glamour models from the early 70s onwards showing off a very full thick bush indeed!

Terry certainly had an eye for capturing his models in the best light, but I’m not so sure about the names he gave them sometimes, as I’m assuming Cherry Orchard wasn’t her real name? Saying that, Cherry Orchard has a certain ring to it and probably works well for this model.

Again, these are a different era and type of image to the early Harrison Marks and Russell Gay images you would normally find here, but a bit of diversity never hurts. Especially as most of the stuff I’m posting now is original never seen before stuff that I’ve come across on my travels and worth sharing. As always, a big thank you to Terry for the dates and names of the new models. :)

Franni Leigh – Skirt No.25 Cover

 

Fanni Leigh (Polly Eltes) on the cover of Skirt No.25 with the photo taken by Terry Sparks. I always like it when I come across a published image either on the cover or within the pages of a vintage magazine that I also have in my original collection and this falls into that category. I recently published a similar black and white version of Franni by Terry here, then what do I find on my travels but a magazine cover featuring one of the shots, but in colour. Unfortunately I don’t have any colour shots from this set of Franni, but at least I now know the colour of her top!
It’s always quite satisfying when you see a shot like above and can identify the model, photographer and date it was taken. The original shots were taken in August of 1972, so one assumes this was published later 72 or 73? Unfortunately I only found the cover, so no idea if Franni went on to reveal more on the inside pages!

The Fabulous Franni Leigh! (Original)

 

Another shot by Terry Sparks from my collection of his contact sheets and this time featuring Franni Leigh, who has already appeared on this site several times before here. This comes from a set of photos taken by Terry in August 1972 and the two previous colour shots on the bed are from this same set. Compared to my other posts and other shots I have seen this is very tame, but at the same time a very good shot of her, with you being able to see her small pert tits through that tight top.
As already explained Franni wasn’t her real name and beneath that wig she was actually fashion model Polly Eltes, who worked for the likes of David Bailey and others, with this being one of her few full nude modelling assignments. She also had brief careers as a British actress and singer, but today she has come full circle and has become a successful photographer behind the camera working for interiors and lifestyle magazines. Thanks as always to Terry for the fabulous insights into his time behind the camera with these models.

Dawn In Sheer Pink!


The delectable Dawn Grayson, posing in the studio wearing her pink sheer négligée again. It’s the same pink négligée as in these shots, so it does raise the question if it was her own outfit or just used by the same photographer at different times? The other shots were 35 mm colour slides taken outdoors, whereas this shot is a medium format negative in the studio, but that’s not to say they weren’t taken at the same time though.

Either way, I do like the sheerness of the négligée and how we clearly see Dawn’s small pert tits through it :)

Lustful Looks On The Lawn!

A shot by Harrison Marks of a naked duo in the garden, with the blonde having a quick squeeze of her friend’s perky little tit. This still comes from the 1970 GHM film ‘Scouts Honour’, filmed at Ewhurst Manor and features Julie Adams and Delia Thomas (Blonde) laying on the blanket and looking lustfully at her friend! From the same set as this shot.

The Fruity Sue Roberts!


A production still of Sue Roberts on the set of the Harrison Marks film ‘Tutti Fruity’ by Maximus International Ltd and was a continental style film, so unretouched. I have several stills from this film of Sue and in them, she is in various stages of undress and playing with fruit, hence the film name.

I love this shot of her posing in just an apron with one of her small pert tits popping out the side, as she chews on an apple!

A Sultry Sue Chester


A sultry looking Sue Chester kneeling on the sofa topless in black panties and stockings from an original negative scan. A stunning view of Sue and her perky pair, but not by Harrison Marks, as all Harrison Marks’ photographs of Sue were taken in one shoot on the Toulouse-Lautrec set of his feature film ‘The Naked World of Harrison Marks’ in the winter of 1965. The photographs of her that he published can be found in Kamera No.71 (13 including the cover) & No.76 with a further two in Femme No.11.

The Innocence of Peta Gareth!


Peta Gareth (Karen Townsend) from an original negative taken by Harrison Marks. Another sweet looking shot from Peta as she sits there posing cross-legged on the sofa, but we know from previous posts of her that looks can be deceptive, and she wasn’t as sweet and innocent as she looked! Sweet on the outside, bad on the inside. ;)
