It speaks volumes about how narrow-minded and repressed society was at the time this shot was taken. If it was published no doubt it would have been censored. As it is we are now able to see a lovely young woman demonstrating what a thing of beauty the female figure was – and is. A far better image than the 2 below – that have impact in their own way – but not as quality images…in my view(!)
